but trolls that act like they have inside information are banned and deleted quickly. We are alot stricter than most want us to be. The fact that Clutch allows cyberx to continue to claim insiderness should be very telling to those who know how this place works.

It is still open and also 5-star because it is telling CFers what they want to hear. I think it's ridiculous that posters and threads with no proof of a real source are considered great just because it's good news. I'm sick of CFers giving 1-star and bashing posters who give news that Rockets fans don't want to hear, yet the information is completely true or from a really legit post. Best example is when any Rockets player is criticized. Even if the criticism is based on fact, the thread will still be 1-star. Even if the posted really does well to back up his/her facts, he still gets flamed. While a poster who opens an entirely new thread with one crappy line saying the rockets have the brightest future ever gets praise and 5-stars even though they have not provided any insight or value to the BBS with the post.
No, you definitely didn't ever say anything was a done deal. Like many have already stated, man... don't sweat the ridiculous posts by those who feel the need to simply be negative and desire to attempt to discredit someone. Pretty amazing it's obvious that several of them A) don't know your history and B) haven't taken the time to actually research your prior posts. As I said, you won me over not necessarily with the Asik post, saying Chicago wasn't going to match (BEFORE it was announced officially and still being debated by some in the mainstream media), but with the long, detailed discussion on why Dwight wasn't being traded here - when it was obvious Brooklyn was out of the question and almost everyone - especially on this site - felt we had by far the best available package for Orlando. NO ONE felt Orlando would take the package they ended up taking. No one thought Vucevic would be as effective as he's been. At the time, AARON AFFLALO was being touted as the big get for Orlando...lol. Seriously? You never wavered in your stance he wasn't coming here... and shared what was being said behind the scenes as to WHY... even though many continued to go at you with all the reasons why we had the best package and had the inside track to get him. Reading people is what I've done for the last 23 years. It's pretty easy to read between the lines and the longer someone posts, it becomes obvious whether or not they're full of it or not. You're legit in my book (and I like the way you never claim to know anything other than what you do/have heard).

First thanks cyberx. Appreciate the inside info. Also I never got that it's a done deal from what you said... not close. But my question... Do you think Dwight is serious. I mean Dwight does have a history of changing his mind rather quickly. Is this a different tone that sounds very much like he is 95% sure or he's just pissed at the Lakers right now but that could get smoothed over later on down the road. Or perhaps you can't tell?

Yup. I was a skeptic. I argued with cyberx last summer based on the logic of the proposals. He said Fegan held more power than most believed, and that a young GM like Hennigan would be wary of crossing him. Look what happened. That said, based on what we learned last summer, the fact that Fegan doesn't like Morey is worrisome. But the part of cyberx's post about Dwight's personal feelings is very encouraging.
Doc Rocket doesn't have any inside information either, so why would his presence and silly rambling assuage any doubts?
