When you say unrealized potential I think you mean he could've been better in the regular seasons or put up better career numbers.

At the end of the day I think he he had an amazing career and he probably wouldn't change anything. He got 7 rings and played a vital role in every single one of them. There are guys that achieved way greater individual accolades who would kill for just 1 ring.

He had some incredible luck as well. Getting to play with Olajuwon in his absolute prime. Getting to play with Shaq in his prime and Kobe when he was coming into his prime as well as Duncan when he was still in his prime. Aside from the luck though in the playoffs he would go into Super Saiyan God mode and single handedly make important plays/hit clutch 3's to change the course of many series.

His greatest move ever though was throwing a sweaty towel in Ainge's mug.

Wasn't even the best player available from Alabama. HIs teammate, Sprewell went 24 to the Warriors.

Man reading the critique of Robert Horry, I just feel like this is why the Rockets made the move for Eddie Griffin.

They were hoping to strike gold twice with a super similar type player. A tall SF, who can block shots and shoot the 3.

I miss Big Shot Rob. Wish the Rockets had held on to him longer than they did.

Love it. Forgot that was when Dream and the front office were in a fight about him faking injuries and almost being traded to the clippers i think? Robert Stanley? lol...

Hey how do you guys pronounce Horry? Everyone ive ever known says "oar-ry." Do yall say it "w****-ry?" It sounds awful like in the video and also D3 on nbatv pronounced it that way as well.

Maybe if you think straight skills. Overall Horry was better. With overall i mean character and skills. Rudy was a players coach who gave his players a lot of space but Spree would have drive him crazy. The only time Spree wanted to be a part of a system and not outside of it was with the Timberwolves.

I remember I was at the draft party at the Summit.... I went in 91 - John Tuner... *shakes head* and then again in 92 - Horry. I thought Popeye Jones, one of our 2nd rd picks that year would be a good backup...

Drafting Robert Horry with a late lottery pick is greater than anything Morey has done in the draft, especially the mediocre lottery selections he's made.
