Maybe they don't want to pay Parson's when his contract is up so maybe they are trying to minimize his worth.

Well clearly this guy doesnt know anything. He should know that Beverlys 11 points a game is better than Lins 14 and 17 in April. He doesnt understand and maybe he can hang around here and get educated about how a guy who is under sized is clearly better than Lin. You guys can explain on how Beverly going games with out scoring a point in expanded minutes is better than a guy who against san anton scored 39 and how that same player when harden was out averaged what 23 and 10....

I have no idea who this morey guy is but he doesnt know crap....whats he do for a living anyways?

How do you call yourself a fan if you don't know who Morey is?

There is only ONE all-star PG in the last 20 years who played in a championship team - one Tony Parker! Rockets don't need CP3 to win one. And, to get CP3, it'd probably be a sign-and-trade $108M five year deal, meanwhile costing the Rockets valuable young assets. That's a lot of cap space committed to a all-star position that has been proven not needed to go all the way. The Lin/Bev combo will work just fine as long as they develop into consistently solid players who can defend.

Memphis is now favored to go to the finals and their backcourt is just as described - consistently solid players who can defend.

I think most people with a high bb iq are "LOF".

The Lin haters are the irrational ones.

Morey's stats are correct Lin is responsible for many wins. The team probably misses the playoffs for the 4th year in a row if they had Tony Douglas and Patrick Beverly instead of Lin.

    Clearly you're the irrational one.

If Bev had started this year, we'd of won 50 game easily. I mean, did you -see- those five games he started? He carried us in game 6. 8/3/0! E-L-I-T-E.

Lin is absolute garbage lol. I mean, its his fault we were only the 8th seed. and he sucked in the playoffs. bone bruise? more like 'menstrual cramps' lolololol. we lost every game he played in. Boom, roasted.

Bev for MVP, DPOY, & MIP next season. :p

Morey has developed his own stats. You are right .I don't think he would use public stats. He appears to have his own formula for WP.

I'm sure there are a ton of different stats that aren't factored into available metrics...
    1) Passes to fouls
    2) Charges/Offensive fouls drawn
    3) Tips/Deflections that disrupt the opposing offense
    4) Total defensive fouls drawn vs. total fouls allowed
    5) Types of turnovers (dead ball vs. start a fast break)
    6) Quality of assists and passes that result in wide open/easy looks
    7) Hockey Assists
    8) Adjust offensive/defense ratings based on the quality of opponent faced
    9) Weigh clutch stats more than non-clutch stats
    10) And a whole bunch more...

Lin had a solid season but was sucky in the playoffs. Hope he does better next season. At least he shouldn't have a poor start coming off a knee injury.

    NO NO NO

    This is just WRONG.

We were having so much fun s***ing on Lin.

All this super advance stats stuff saying he's the best ball handler on the team, good at D, great at PNR... THIS HAS GOTTA STOP.

FIRE MOREY! He's ruining our fun!

I've read in a bb analytics book that most ballers peak at 28 and then start a slow decline unil the early 30's. The decline accelerates after about 33.
