Did the Nuggets even change their roster from last year?

    EDIT: Completely forgot about Iggy.

got rid of nene, got McGee, iguodala.

even though morey made a lot of changes, bottom line is that his moves made the team just 3 wins better than last years pace. Denver exploded from their win total last year and added 10 to last years pace.

How does Morey not win this award? He got Houston a franchise player and signed two players who've got plenty of room to grow. Add in Chandler Bang and the plethora of cap-space.

What the hell did this guy do? Retool a team with an aging jack-of-all-trades who's gonna dip out?

Royce White caused Morey to lose it, damn him!

3 wins better than last year is what morey made us. Not award worthy since it was season award and has nothing to do with what happens this offseason

Afflalo, Harrington, 1st for Iggy was a decent move, though it really depends on Iggy's next contract on whether he's going to decline rapidly like Gerald Wallace did.

Drafting Fournier appears to have been a good move.

Re-signing Andre Miller was for the money he got was pretty solid. Anthony Randolph... whatever. Signing McGee to a big deal was simply an awful move, however.

So, ya, Morey probably did get robbed.

It's better that Morey not win it. He inspires enough animosity around the league. Sam Presti would never pick up a phone call from the Rockets ever again if Morey won. Even NOW he might not be taking Rockets phone calls lol.

Rockets: acquired a franchise piece, a very good above average starting center on a good deal, a young PG with upside, signed good role players on the cheap. Roster filled with young players. Near max cap room.

Nuggets: traded for a soon to be over 30 player, who is about to get paid and may very well decline in the next few years, signed a backup center to a $11M long term deal. Little to no cap flexibility.

3 wins better vs 10 wins better.

    As the saying goes, "scoreboard".

how would that be a plus for Morey if both teams lost in the 1st round. Maybe you have a point if the rockets were still playing.

You all know what this means right?

A lot of the voters for these awards must actually live in Houston. They all are renowned dish network enthusiasts and have therefore just been blacked out of watching this team play all year long.

They still probably don't even know how much they failed in every award. It's the only explanation.
