This whole brouha over the modeling photo's is probably the best thing to happen to her since I figure she's more interested in her modeling career than teaching. I'd imagine Inside Edition and other such "news" programs will be interviewing her and since she is actually legitimately beautiful, I can't see why the Maxims of the world wouldn't give her a chance.

Damn, she is one beautiful teacher though. Damn you Maura Tierney!

Teachers shouldn't be hot. It's too much of a distraction. Now, don't get me wrong, when I was a student I would have loved to have some hot teachers, but looking back now I know it would have been too difficult to concentrate in class.

Not to get too D&D on this, but I'd be surprised if a lawyer would touch this case. She has no legal leg to stand on.

When I was earning my teaching degree, we were told MANY times that, as teachers, we were held to a different legal standard than the average person, due to communities being allowed to designate the professional and behavioral standards of it's teachers. This nebulous concept has led to teachers being fired from everything from getting drunk at a bar to taking bikini photos to just being gay. There are things I can't/won't post on my Facebook account, for example, that all my non-teacher friends could post with no problem. It's just not worth the risk that some tight-ass parent would see a pic of me with a beer bottle in hand and make a huge deal out of it.

 

Yeah, but none of that applies to the HS teacher who is also the football coach.
