I keep hearing this, but it may only be true in early season. Garcia/Delfino played a lot of minutes, and our youngest players(TRob/Dmo/TJ/Royce) play none to few minutes. On the other hand, GS has young core of Curry/Thompson, and pretty much all their rookies(Harrison/Green/Ezeli...) are at least playing rotation minutes and contributing in playoff. GS looks younger than us.
I think we are still younger, because Andrew Bogut is 28, Carl Landry is 29, and David Lee & Jarret Jack are both 30.
The whole youngest team in the playoffs label we and other media folk put on this team isn't really worth much. The Warriors are probably the youngest team based on all their normal rotation players, compared to Houston who this series saw big minutes go to Delfino, Brooks and Garcia but none of it matters. Warriors proved to be the stronger unit and advanced.

actually after picking up Garcia and Brooks we moved to the fifth youngest team iirc. I do think we were the youngest in the playoffs though.

I believe we were. I think during one of the games, TNT showed a chart that had us listed as the 6th youngest team ever to qualify for the NBA playoffs. The first 3 I think were all OKC(2009, 2010 & 2011).

We maybe young on paper, but adjusted for rotation minutes our youngest players are mostly not playing. And another poster just pointed out we are NOT the youngest team in the entire NBA after trade deadline(not even close). Check your facts, idiot.

No, re-read the quote. Notice that it starts off "Even Now". They are still the youngest team in the league. This quote is from April 10th, long after the trade deadline. The whole point of this thread was the question as to whether GS was actually younger than the Rockets. Think about it, we're the 6th youngest team to ever qualify for the playoffs and the article lists the 5 teams that were younger and GS isn't one of them. How could GS possibly be younger?
How could the Warriors be younger? Curry is 25 which is older than Harden, Lin, Parsons, Smith, and Beverley all of whom saw minutes in the series against the Thunder. Golden State is a young team, but nowhere near as young as the Rockets.
Right. But he's referring to age weighted by minutes played. No matter what, we are one of the promising teams.
