Dwight Howard carried a bunch of scrubs to the finals. Boogie has carried a bunch of scrubs to the lottery

I'd be much more in the camp of a Pau Gasol rental, and then signing him when he becomes a free agent after next season, though, if possible. That way we don't have to lose any significant pieces.

We're a 50+ win team easily if you can pair a player like Harden with a dominant low post scorer like Cousins.

He may have his issues but if he's available GM's will always be listening.

No way I'd give up Parsons just for Cousins

Trading away the franchise player for role-players and filler is not the sort of buzz a team trying to repair their public image needs.

Looking at the success of the Kings with Cousins is a big mistake. That team has been completely dysfunctional for several seasons at least. Hakeem Olajuwon couldn't have turned in a winning season with that crappy franchise. In a well-run organization, Cousins will be a different player -- more productive, more in control, and more even-tempered.

Those are a lot of caveats. And Sac is going to have right of first refusal on him and won't let him walk for nothing. Picking him up in free agency is a pipedream.

Parsons (even in a package) is insufficient compensation for those established star power forwards. I consider Parsons a cheap price to pay for Cousins assuming he's capable of what I think he is with the right team. Honestly, giving up Parsons in a package is hoping that Sacramento is so fed up with Cousins that they're willing to trade at a discount.

Sac might be hesitant to trade with Morey.

    ;)

If we get Cousins, we should bring in a successful vet center such as Jermaine O'Neal or Rasheed Wallace (if he'll come out of retirement again)

Would be a terrific fit next to Asik...but he just seems too unstable(a bigger head case than Dwight imo)...And there are times he just does really dumb things...Mchale and Cousins could be a nice partnership, but I really doubt that the Kings are letting go of their most valuable piece of that team..

.....I wonder if then, we could trade Harden & Lin to Chicago for Noah & Rose seeing Rose is coming off of serious injury. Afterwards maybe TRob & TJones to NY for Raymond Felton & a 2nd round pick in 2014??

Then we can have an entirely new roster with no chemistry and that would be a COOL STORY BRO!!!!

Yeah that's fine with me, we just better have a plan for SF. Whether it's Garcia or Delfino or a trade or a signing, we already are going to be lacking in depth there. Garcia has probably shown that he could be the best option there currently on the team if his contract is restructured.

By that logic, we wouldn't want Kevin Love either.

Those numbers are impressive...big man, typically takes a long time to develop. With Mchale being the coach, I can see Cousins totally flourish into a true superstar in 2-4 years.

Get him at all cost(as long as we are not trading Harden)

I would trade some scrubs for cousins and see of Kings bite. Screw getting rid of the squad that did well. Cousins would play PF and to be honest that's his true position but like most pf's he can play the C.

I would trade some of our PF's for cousins and some other scrubs and some picks. See if King's bite on that considering they are going to lose cousins next season with no gain.

I'm wondering if Sacramento would move Demarcus if they wound up with Alex Len.
