but he DID improve quite a bit throughout the season.

he said he needed to improve his game coming out of november... well he did. and kept improving after that. it's hard to improve on stuff during the season but yet that's exactly what he did.

i actually don't see it as him "improving" but rather things reverting back to norm for him. his early season struggles were exactly that - struggles and not the norm. eventually the law of averages caught up and he reverted back to his norm towards the end of the season. now if he can improve on his march and april numbers next year, that would be impressive and we'd have a pretty good player on our hands.

This. I don't know why people get so worked up over the team clubbing/going to strip clubs. Do we expect them to sit at home on Sat nights twiddling their thumbs? As long as they're not drinking until the wee hours the night before a game there's nothing to get upset about.

Not my business but sometime Parsons choice of fashion makes me smh. Lin probably didn't want his hardcore christian peers to see him taking shots lol.

I have no issue whatsoever with what players do in the offseason (and they definitely deserve a break). I probably should've made myself more clear in my first post, but I was referring to the part about Lin being drunk & sick. Of all the fan sighting that I've read, no one mentioned anything about him being drunk.

jesus christ who gives a **** if he was drunk or not. does it hurt your feelings that he acts like any normal 24 year old male partying in a club.

Probably a smart idea to delete the pictures. Some things should never be seen.

I didn't phrase my posts correctly (it's more about folks making claims with no proof, but anyhoo...), so feel free to mock away. For the record, I couldn't have cared less either.

If being drunk and banging strippers can make Lin a better player, I'm all for it.

It must suck to have millions of dollars in your lap and you have to watch your image every time you go out clubbing. Lin should just embrace his inner Harden and not give a **** when he goes out to have fun.

This off-season can't come soon enough.

I really hope that Lin can just become a dead eye shooter...with the ability beat people off the dribble...more than his handles...JLin needs to realize that his offensive abilities will help him stay on the court...

Beverley is closing fast, and you can dang sure bet he wants to start...

Regardless...wishing both guys the best...and lets get better next season...go Rockets!!!!!!!!!!

    Apparently not....

And now he says he's taking a three week break!! Oy! He'll be crucified for that, no doubt. :p

As for him going out partying after the season was over, if I recall correctly, there was a big hubbub last year because he did the same with his Knick buddies after the Knicks got bounced. Christians all over the internet freaking out...Not that I mean to bash Christians. I am one myself. I just don't understand the kind that will jump ugly on a kid who goes out at the end of a long season and has a good time, as long as he's not hurting anyone. Heck, Jesus' first miracle was supplying barrels of wine to a bunch of drunk wedding partyers. Such is the life of Jeremy Lin, I guess. His every move will be scrutinized...and criticized...by someone. It is what it is....and it's not all bad.

it's a bit more complicated than that. conley was the same player all year long, lin improved drastically, went from being a 28% 3pt shooter, to being a 39% 3pt shooter.

    Captain Save a Lin.

This was outside Avenue on Sat night. He was sitting in between cars on the sidewalk. No reason to make this kinda stuff up lol.

My cousin briefly talked to him. Congratulated him on the season and told him not to read clutchfans bc of the haters. He said something like yeah haters haters (agreeing). Perhaps I was exaggerating about him being sick drunk but he was def throwed, which doesn't matter anyway since he's free to do what he wants.

his exit interview said he will start working out 3 weeks from now. He went back to Taiwan last year too. I think he works out there too.

Wow, I night to get drunk and celebrate the season then off to Taiwan for promotions and training, then back here to start working out in 3 weeks time?

    Sounds, like a busy schedule.

Lin should just go to Hawaii for a month and really chill and let his chest recover fully. I think he pushes himself too hard. Its been a crazy last year and a half for him. He's gonna burn out real bad if he keeps going at this pace.

Jeremy will probably be in Cali (his parent's home) for the 3 week vacation. This will give him time to rest that chest injury. I wouldn't be surprised if he already contacted Sparta and Doc about starting his workouts after his vacation.

Last summer, his Asian trip was towards the ending of his off-season. It was approximately a month with him going to Taiwan, China. Hong Kong and back to Taiwan. David Lee joined him on the second trip to Taiwan. Jeremy conducted training camps in each country. During his free time, he was either at the gym or on the bb court. There is a yt video shot during this time where it clearly shows his left knee/leg was still not at full strength and weaker than his right.

For those of you who believe Jeremy is going to Asia to relax around the pool, think again.
