Alright guys I need some information on how season tickets work in the NFL. I keep hearing you have to buy a PSL. Currently there is a waiting list of 19,000 people for Texan season tickets. My questions. Can I buy season tickets without a PSL? What is a PSL? How much are they?
What position are you guys on that list? Only found out about the waiting list before last season so I'm like in 19,035 of 23,800 or something lol. 60,000 seats, I should be there in no time! Sssssike
I don't think you can official buy season tickets without a PSL. PSL stands for personal seat license, I think. They're pretty expensive. On top of paying for the PSL, you still have to pay for the season tickets.
1) Yes, you can buy season tickets without a PSL. But they are reserved to only the grey areas of this chart. In addition, as has been pointed out, the waiting list is a few lifetimes long at this point. 2) A PSL is a permanent seat license. It entitles you to the right to buy tickets (both season tickets and playoffs, as well as other football events run by Reliant) to the seats you hold the license for. If you ever decline to purchase your tickets in any given year or playoff, you forfeit your PSL to the public/waiting list. 3) They are expensive. Have a look for yourself at the PSL marketplace. 4) If you are looking to buy some, I plan on selling mine in July. Email me for details. A private sale saves us both money versus buying them via the marketplace.
PSL is basically a paper that says you have the right to purchase season tickets for specific seats. So if you want to own row 1 seats 1-4, you would have a PSL stating that. That doesnt mean you get to sit there all season, it means you own the right to purchase those seats for all season. If you dont buy them (this is where I am talking out of my ass, but have put some thought into it) The Texans or Reliant will sell your tickets as individual seats. Anyways NFL season tickets are super expensive. You might want to try your luck on a secondary market (craigslist) and see if anyone is trying to sell their PSL or at least trying to sell this seasons tickets. They will probably be high $$$ since they're doing so well and we have premiere players now
I don't get it. It's a head scratcher. Why would anyone pay for a PSL that costs between 7500 to 28000 for nose bleeds in sections 744 and 749 Listing Number Number of Seats Seating Area Section Row Seat Numbers Aisle Parking Pass Tickets Available Price Per Seat Total Asking Price 39703 2 Chairman's Club 744 P 1 - 2 Aisle Yes All $7,500 $15,000 37623 2 Chairman's Club 749 P 7 - 8 All $14,000 $28,000

PSL's are expensive right now due to the success of the team. I would wait to buy a PSL after they have a down year.
I bought mine in September of 2010. They were in the Loge II and cost $500 per seat at the time. Now, a similar seat in a different section just went for $2400 a few months ago. I just wish I had went all in and bought better seats at the time. I didn't have the money to do that though.
