While being guarded 1-on-1 by Gordon Hayward, would Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith shoot a combined 5-for-24?

    Be honest here.

Gordon is a nice offensive player, but as a Pacers fan I was loving it on draft night when the Jazz picked him over Paul George.

Oh, come on. Carmelo Anthony and JR Smith can shoot 5-24 against anybody, and they've proven it.

I love George's defensive versatility and like his offensive skills...... but going to the Conference Finals in the East doesn't mean a whole lot... especially with Rose being out.

Parsons is a very good player, and is consistently improving.... he is not better than George though....

George is a level below the superstars

Parsons is a level below George

Hayward is a level below Parsons.......

Okay, so is Paul George the best player out of the 2010 draft, or would you guys still take John Wall #1 overall? How would your top 14 look for 2010 then? 2010 looks to be a solid draft now

IMO If you put Hayward in our offense I think he could match or surpass Parson's production.

5-24 when being guarded by George,
9-19 when being guarded by anyone else,

on the same day, with the same defensive schemes

I think its about a wash between Parsons and Hayward.

Parsons rebounds a little more, more versatile defender, Hayward gets to the line WAY more, better 3 point shooter and ball handler.

Parsons is dependable in the clutch. Hayward REALLY stank it up in the playoffs last year. Like Luther Head level ineptness

Hayward's a year younger. Parsons is a better leader and more length. Probably about the same upside.

Hayward's 3 point shooting and getting to the line in the Rockets offense would make him a more dynamic scorer than Parsons. But Rockets might just need exactly what Parsons lends, someone who actually will defend and grab a board.

Probably just depends on your roster if you're picking between those 2. I'd probably lean towards George though.

    1. George
    2. Wall
    3. Cousins
    4. Favors
    5. Monroe
    6. Sanders
    7. Hayward
    8. Bledsoe
    9. Bradley
    10. Vasquez
    11. Turner
    12. Davis
    13. Patterson
    14. W. Johnson/Aminu/Udoh/J Crawford/not really sure

Give or take a few spots for everybody

I think Wall, Monroe, Cousins, George, Favors could still end up the best player 5 years from now.

But at this moment, i'd draft in this order:

    tier 1
    1. George
    2. Wall
    3. Monroe
    4. Cousins
    5. Favors

    tier 2
    6. Larry Sanders
    7. Gordon Hayward

    tier 3
    8. Avery Bradley
    9. Greivis Vasquez
    10. Bledsoe
    11. Lance Stephenson
    12. Ed Davis
    13. Evan Turner
    14. Aminu or 2Pat
