I don't know what you are talking about. I love both Mortal Kombat movies for what they are. If your expectations aren't in line with what the intentions were for the filmmakers than that is your problem.

It's very much a fanboy, "Yesssssss!!!!!" movie with a "that's awesome" moment every time they throw another character into the already busy movie. It is nowhere as cheezy as Street Fighter. The universe is pretty self contained so you don't have the core story interacting with the real world. The fight choreography is also pretty good.

Spawn is the only movie I've ever walked out of, probably should have left The Happening as well but I suffered through that whole thing...

I dunno. For a long time I thought Gigli was it.

Cursed be the day when I was dragged along to watch The Last Airbender.

Gigli was at least so bad it was comical. Airbender had zero redeeming qualities. Halfway into the <strike>movie</strike> torture session I wanted to start throwing things at the theater screen.

The world will become a better place when M. Night Shayamalan is locked up in federal prison for the crime of making movies.

 

Does that actor guy have someone's naked pictures, or something? He just doesn't know how to be dramatic. Looks fake. That's what makes "The Room" bad... just that guy's acting. :grin:

 

There was some REALLY AWFUL sci/fantasy adventure movies in (all eras actually) late 70's through 80's

We didnt HAVE no MORTAL Combat back then. We just had Dunjins 'n Dragins and had to settle for "action" films like:

First time I walked out of a theater.

 

You guys don't understand The Room. It's so wonderfully bad it's amazing. I've seen it at least 7-8 times. So is the writer/director/producer/star Tommy Wiseau. He is amazing too. There will never be another film like it.

Do yourselves a favor and come out to meet him (and costar Greg Sestero) when he comes back to Houston. I've gone to see him twice and it was awesome both times. And yes, he will throw a football around with you.

Any of the Baby Genius movies, especially the last one. I know most kid movies are garbage, but that last one took 50 levels further. 0/10 Never again.
