For me it isn't a Memphis love fest, it is a OKC offense/Brooks hatred.

If these games come down the wire OKC definitely has the advantage.

Its like memphis hasnt seen KD play before in crunch time. He always wants to attack with the D on their heels before they set up. If he doesnt see a driving lane he just rises up. Their priority should have been getting the ball out of his hands by meeting him at halfcourt.

Damn, compared to VDN, Brooks is an offensive genius. The Thunder actually run back cuts and lots of screen and roll.

Uh, show me a few people that have GS over SA in any amount of games, and I'll stop saying Memphis is better than OKC.

I've hardly seen him post in this thread, while you just seem butthurt that the Clippers lost to the Grizz.

Why not? They beat the Clips 4 straight games after falling down 0-2. They've proven they can win 4 straight playoff games.

They should have won this game, and they didn't even play their average game. And it was a ROAD game.

I am stunned. OKC deserves a lot of credit for winning this one.

    'Nuff said on KD

K-Mart deserves big-time credit for showing up like he did.

OKC still won with Ibaka & Perkins shooting a combined 2/16. Amazing.

This series is really a mental test for Memphis. They will easily pass and take it in 5. OKC has no business hanging with them.

I agree the Grizzlies need to feed Gasol more because all Perkins can do now is jaw and try to get in his head.

Reggie Jackson is very fortunate he didn't blow the game with that foul.

He's learned not to prematurely splooge ever since his embarrassing mid-game 1 celebration last year. Had the Grizz not choked here, he would def be hotting up a storm righ about now.

I don't even care who wins-- well actually I like OKC just because a Grizz Spurs series would be boring as ****. I just think OKC is the better team because the Grizz have problems scoring when they can't get to the line.

That's fair. It just seems a little sore loserish.

It's gonna be a ton of close games. I think Memphis is better personally. One game isn't gonna change everything.

Simmons after game 2 of LAC - Mem was convinced it was going to be OKC - LAC and was breaking the series down.

Even without Westbrook OKC are tougher to beat than the Clips.

It's possible Memphis wins the next 4 but I definitely wouldn't predict after they choked away game 1.

The only way Memphis wins 4 in a row or even his series is if they realize they have Gasol and Zbo as big men.

You can't go by one game that OKC was expected to win anyway. But I think OKC has more room to improve because they have more options. Memphis really has trouble scoring since OKC has such good frontline defense. And nothing today showed me Memphis can check Durant, who makes everything happen. If anything, OKC was missing tons of easy shots in the first quarter that put them in catchup mode the whole game.

Why not? I'd be willing to do a tip jar bet that Memphis wins in 6 or less.

Just like the Clippers series, there is every reason to expect the Grizzlies to adapt and adjust after gauging OKC today. Not saying it will happen, but I wouldn't be surprised if they again won the next 4 games by 10 points or more.

One thing is obvious to me: OKC actually benefited by Ibaka missing the putback and giving the Rockets game 4. They needed games 5 & 6 to help work the kinks out of their new lineup. Otherwise, they would have been a softer target for the Grizzlies.

You're saying that people are loving dat Curry. Are you saying he's not a good player? Are people saying that he's the best player?

No one is saying Steph Curry is a "world-beater" or whatever term you decide to use.

So if you're not referencing the player, I'm guessing you're referencing the team?

Which is why I said what I said.

Memphis won 4 in a row after losing to a CP3 game winner in game 2 in the first round.
