I'd probably go with Asik. I haven't checked, but I'm guessing his On/Off +/- numbers in this series led the team. We absolutely sucked when he was off the floor.

Beverly. Thunder would have swept if he didn't take out Westbrook.

Garcia was a total game changer imo, but I'll go with Asik. We sucked every time he sat.

Chandler or Asik, ironically. None of the "stars" actually played well aside from Game 5 (which was awesome to watch). Harden blew in the entire series except for 5. Lin didn't play well at all in any of his showings.

    1) Asik
    2) Parsons
    3) Garcia
    4) Delfino
    5) Harden
    6) Brooks
    7) Beverly

Overall, I'm impressed with everyone except for our to "best players" Lin and Harden. Smith was by far the worst player out there, but playing him that many minutes was a mistake. Too bad we didn't see what T-Rob, Jones, and D-Mo were made of.

You guys are really, vastly underrating Harden. He had a rough series, but without him our team would be nothing. Maybe not nothing, but you get my point. He's the MVP, and it's not even close.

Now, if we're talking who played the best given their circumstances, I would vote Garcia, Asik, Parsons, Beverley. They all played higher then was expected, and am really proud of them all.

But Harden was still "The Most Valuable" to the Rockets by far.

Parsons. The most consistent on both ends

I guess Harden is the MVP of the Rockets, but I rank postseason performance based on how close they were to their season averages. If they far exceeded them then they stepped up and were very valuable to winning. If they were far from them then they choked.

MVP for Game 5. He was a liability in the fourth quarter of the entire series. Not going to trash game 5 because it was awesome. But to give him the "MVP", that's almost laughable.

If you take out Harden, there are other players that can step up to put up points. If you take out Asik this would had been an easy sweep. Chandler is only up there because he's the most 'consistent' Rocket efficient-wise.

    Lol wut...

With our centers from last year (Dalembert, Hill, Camby, etc.) and Harden we would almost get to the playoffs at least. Asik is important to the team, but not nearly as important as Harden.

    1. Chandler Parsons. As in the league and media took major notice of him.

    2. Patrick Beverley. Came out of nowhere but gained begrudging respect.

    3. Omer Asik. Woke up in Game 4-6. Started to get confidence with his roll game.

    4. James Harden. He got us here. He was already worn out and OKC knew all his tendencies. Still as CWebb said, Harden has been asked to take a difficult challenge. No one else has been asked to be the #1 option and then face your former team in the playoffs. Both physically and emotionally draining for him ...

But most of all, Daryl Morey, for putting this team together. Just when we thought the SAC trade was a bad one, here comes Garcia justifying that trade in a major way.

I know DM's a genius, but he's supremely lucky too. Hey, Daryl, your work is not yet over :)
