I'd say outta Chandler or Garcia, probably Garcia given his defense on KD (and offensive contributions). P Bev also is notable mention. Your thoughts?

    1. Patrick Beverley (took out Westbrook and was the cool hand that calmed the Rockets on offense)
    2. Francisco Garcia (For his defense on Durant and amazing shooting)
    3. Chandler Parsons (Incredible)
    4. Asik (Stepped up huge in games 3-6)

    Honorable mention: Aaron Brooks

MVP is Harden, despite some struggles. This team gets nowhere without him. However, Parsons and Asik really came through. And Garcia for Honorable Mention.

What I loved about this short postseason was that you can't really pinpoint a clear MVP.

Asik for getting through the Hack.

Parsons for showing glimpses of stardom.

Beverley for unfortunately shutting down WB, but also for providing great basketball.

Garcia for playing defense on Durant

Delfino for serving a facial on Durant

Brooks for showing glimpses of 2008-2009 Brooks.

This team also gets nowhere without Asik. This team wins less than 20 games without him. Only games we win are the ones where we're hot from three.

Harden is not Kobe or Jordan or Iverson. He didn't carry this team to the playoffs, they made it there as a team. Such disrespect for the team when people say stuff like this.

I dont really know who the MVP is really. Maybe Harden or Parsons. But definitely Garcia was out x factor and a huge reason as to why we won two.

Oh and that injury to the Westbrook guy

    Harden, Beverley, Parsons, Garcia, Asik.

Lmao, I was listing off names that made the most impact and I realized I just listed off our best starting lineup.

Relax, I said Harden is MVP. No disrespect to the others. Parsons and Asik were awesome and I hope they are Rockets for a long time.

BTW, Harden doesn't have to be Jordan or AI to be the MVP of the team.

bev without a question. if he doesn't take out westbrook, thing could have ended in 4. close games but still a sweep.

I'd say Bev. Harden was pretty mediocre this whole series, even his great game 5 performance was more due to luck (hitting 7/9 on iso contested 3s is not exactly in his skillset,,,,,, or in any NBA player's skillset for that matter)

In terms of series impact, Beverley mainly for Westbrook being injured off his play.

As for actual play, I would say Asik. Our defense doesn't exist without Asik under the rim.

Parsons is a close 2nd with Harden.

Garcia is the biggest surprise of the series. A throw in on the TRob trade. Who knew?
