Although he had a so so night, he still had a pretty good series.

He tried to start crap at the end of the game............

This guy needs to be released ASAP. He's a nightmare scenario waiting to happen.

It'll be a real toss up and will really depend on who improves the most in the off season.

I like Bev's athleticism and intensity.. needs to work on not being a spaz/foul magnet in crucial moments.

I like Lin's size and the potential, but dude needs to stop being the nice guy deferring all the time. FFS, put the big boy pants on and ball!

That said, I hope both will be back next season.

    I agreed.

32.41 minutes with ZERO assist again as a PG? Still "Unbelievable"?

    I LUV BEV

    Kid has a bright future

Bev got out played in 3 out of 4 games by Jackson

As great a defender some believe Bev is, Can someone name a starting PG HE SHUTDOWN this season (NO Ulrich and Mike James dont count)

Bev needs to work on his P&R handling

This was the first game in this series that Bev did not play like Bev. All that happened tonight will be forgotten. Over the offseason he will get better and come back next season ready for more.

Beverley had a fantastic series. Fearless, lots of energy, and tons of heart. I hope to see him in a Rockets uniform for a long time.

Just so you all know, i don't blame Jeremy for anything that happened tonight. It was a group effort.

I agree. Beverley didn't play D again tonight and clearly was the worst starter. That being said, he has proven he has a spot on this team and can bring much needed energy and attitude. But tonight he was his worst own enemy, making dumb fouls and taking some ill advised shots. And I lost count on how many times he left his man unguarded.

But at the end of the day, what can you expect? A few months ago he was playing overseas and now he's here in the NBA playoffs as a starter. I think our team will be top 4 in the West next season so we have nothing to be upset about.

I totally agree and hope you don't construe my last post as putting this on Beverley. We lost as a team. No Delfino hurt and an injured Lin who could hardly lift his arm and gave almost nothing and a so-so Aaron Brooks just couldn't cut it. And Parsons had key turnovers and Harden seemed like he got deflated when OKC made their run. And Asik just needs to go harder!!!

    But a fun season overall.

Doesn't know how to pass or run an offense well. Love his energy off the bench. Jeremy Lin should still start but needs to improve greatly to be deserving of his contract.

I think he's been deserving with his play in the regular season. It sucks that he got injured in the playoffs, but yes he really sucked and I expected more from him game 6. I expected more from everyone, actually. Its ok this teams still very young and will be back next year stronger

I expected more too but they never should have put him in. I knew he was still hurtin when he was interviewed and said that he was fine and once the adrenaline hit from the game he wouldn't feel it. He was wrong b/c he was still feeling it. I was 8 rows back on the corner by the Rockets bench and he still had that crazy wrap on under his jersey and was biting down on his mouth guard the entire game when he was on the bench. He also looked like he was avoiding contact when he made his drives- which isn't what his game normally is.

I said it before the game- if Lin was hurt, I'd rather not see him play b/c he wasn't going to help us. Not sure why we didn't play T Jones some or even Robinson...

For an NBA rook, he did great.

Yay- I'm calling it a night on that one- Badlee and I agree again. :)

Both guys helped our team this season and I'm happy to see both back next season with a summer of training camp together and maybe one more free agent star added to the mix.

It's been a frustrating but fun thread. Have a good one.

    What's Beverley's contract situation?

Is he on a minimum for the next couple of years?
