Does anyone here have that t-mobile prepaid plan for $30 with 100 minutes, Unlimited text & data? I currently have a grandfather G1 plan 400min, 400text & unlimited data that i pay $66 including tax & those magic fees. i just want to know if anyone has had any problems with this plan.. thanks.
My last upgrade was in 2009 ( i know pretty bs too wait this long ) but i still was able to get newer phones from craigslist ect, as i am wasting time waiting for my upgrade. But when i went to t-mobile 3 weeks ago i remember the guy saying i could get a s3 for 350. I'm guessing that's what would be left to pay on the 20$ a month plan.
http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2013/05/htc-will-literally-pay-you-to-buy-an-htc-one-this-weekend/ Go get your free money from HTC! Anywhere from $100 to $350 Amazing deal for anyone that just bought an HTC One!
I have the prepaid 30 dollar plan, just got it actually, working flawlessly. 100 minutes is not a lot of talk time, lol... but having data beats having minutes.
the great thing is though, even if you go over your minutes, it's only 10 cents a minute so even another 100 minutes puts you at 40 dollars for the month. Still cheap.
Looks nice, but considering they'll only give $100 for their flagship phone that came out less than a year ago, I doubt they're giving more than $100 on most phones. Which means that this is more a gimmick and less a true attempt at converting people. If I was renewing a contract, I'd rather renew a contract and get the one for $100-$200 instead. It sucks that I'm cheap and still think in contracts with my phone, but I think most of America does...
I had an evo3d and bb would give me 25, sprint was gonna give 33, HTC is giving me 100. So maybe because it is a HTC I get more but either way deal is done.
Maybe I did something wrong. I have an Evo Lte. I entered it just to see and got 100. I'm not trying to knock the deal, it seems nice for the right buyer. Sometimes I just think HTC's marketing and pr falls short, and that's a shame because I live their stuff.
The deal is you get $100 or the value of your phone; whichever is greater. I put in a horrible zte phone worth nothing and it still offered $100. According to the fine print the phone you're likely to get more than $100 (up to $375 I believe) is an iPhone 5.
Got offered 100 for an HTC 2, and a Motorola Photon. Legit Deal. Obviously not a good deal with the latest/greatest phones from last year.

Dang. I think I'm sold. I thought the Galaxy S4 was it with all the superlatives it brought. I still don't like the fact that you can't change the battery on this thing, and I will definitely be buying a warranty on it as a result -- but, man, it is beautiful and does what it's supposed to do very well. The 4MP camera is also a minus, but in reality, if I want to take a real photo I'll be using my Sony NEX anyway. I was worried about a locked bootloader but HTC has erased that concern as well. T-Mobile here I come.
i've used the HTC one for about a week now and I must say its the best phone i have ever used. It really does take the best parts of apple and android and combines them into a awesome package.. It's simple and not overly complicated like the Samsung yet it has all the main core features you really need and does it better than the Samsung. The email, web browsing, calendar app just works so much better than the Samsung.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PHONE!!
If any of you work in an environment where Microsoft Exchange is used. The HTC Mail app does a nice job at working with it. I remember the days where I had to use Touchdown.
I have had the plan now for almost a year Best plan ever, never an issue, solid 4G..I average around 500mb a month and use mostly around 60-80 minutes...great plan but I am still looking to switch to www.ultra.me $19 plan.. 250 minutes, unlimited global texting, 4G 50mb and then you can ad 50 ($2.50), 250 ($5.00), or 500MB ($10.00) of additional data.
Bought the HTC one, I'm missing Google now. With that said the phone is amazing. I love the camera, I wish it were higher megapixels but it still takes beautiful pictures with a very quick shutter. The speakers are what sold me honestly.
