maybe he can take a page from scotty brooks and be our energizer bunny.

I want it to be in flow of things and if so, jeremy could be an additional lift. We need to keep the pedal on the gas guys. This short period of time out and coming back like this might just be the additional spark we need.

    Then maybe a game 7?

    man!!

I feel like McHale isn't a fan of Brooks, so I'm worried he'll limit his minutes too much because Lin is back.

Beverley and Brooks have given their share of elbows to opponent's faces.

Brooks elbowed a guy in college pretty bad and got suspended for it.

Bev will elbow anyone who disrespects him.

It's this attitude about Brooks and Bev that I love. That fighting attitude. They never lose confidence or become afraid of the moment.

Lin can have all the skills in the world but if he had even a bit of that attitude it would help his game tremendously.

as long as he doesn't start, i'll be fine. im sure if he comes off the bench and starts stinking it up he'll be right back there. We cant afford any screw ups this game.

I really don't get posters that say "Yea!...if"

How about just "YEA! We got another bullet in the revolver".

So he ain't fierce because he doesn't throw elbows to his opponent??
What on earth was Linsanity all about?

I'm actually expecting lin to take over PB role as a pesky PG today. He'll have limited number of min so there will be no fear of getting into foul trouble.

If Lin is feeling well and playing well he should get north of 20 minutes. If not, limit him to about 10 minutes. But I honestly think he' feeling closer to 100% and he'll be fine. He can easily take on Fisher and Jackson when healthy. He could barely lift his arm in game 3. Noe that he's feeling better, he should give some quality minutes

There's a difference between speed and being aggressive and attacking the boards.

On point, I like Lin's game when he's going at it aggressively. He's seen the playoffs...he's got time to rest..i hope he can come at this game full speed.

I like McHale's approach, bring him off the bench see how it goes. Its good for both the team and Jeremy himself.

All in all, this is great news. With Delfino down, we need the firepower in the back court to prevent starters from burning out...esp with so many fouls drawn by Durant.

Stop this nonsense bickering on Lin, he's your starting pg in 82 games. Like him or not, its a game 6 win or go home, support him, support the team. Lets go Rocket!

Good. If Lin is aggressive, he can burn Fisher pretty badly.

Hope our coach could do a great job in backcourt rotation
If JLin is not ready, we'd better sit him

Yeah buddy totally agree with you on this! With the limited number of min he'll be having today I hope he plays the pesky type of D like PB. Hope they sharing notes....LOL

I'd give Lin 10 minutes to prove if he's on or not. If he's hurting us or if the injury still looks like it's lingering, bench him. If he's hot, play him 30+

He kept Lin in there early in the series, even when he was obviously struggling to adapt to the playoff style and then again when he was obviously in too much pain to play at all. IMO, it shows how little faith he has in Brooks, which is saying something, since Brooks' speed and offense would have been helpful early on. Brent Barry basically implied the same thing, so i'd like to think i'm not just seeing things.

We can't be sure McHale won't do it again. Now isn't the time to be experimenting or trying to get very young and inexperienced players back into a groove. We need to build a lead early and not just maintain it, but increase it. You can plug in a Derek fisher into that role and roll the dice, but it's not very smart with someone like Lin.
