Lin is wildly inconsistent in his production and that is reflected in the comments here and in the way McHale will cautiously use him. Everything is as it should be. Relax I do wonder if we are overlooking what Jeremy can provide for us on defense.
The answer is really simple, have Lin go for EVERY loose ball that goes out of bounds, and aim for Fisher's jewels in trying to save. Or fake pass to phantom rocket player standing in front of Fisher while he's on the bench... Then all the LOH and LOF will get along! Win win!

If Lin gave Fisher a nice elbow to his head and knocked him on the ground, I will take back everything I said about him being scared of the playoffs. He would be my new hero.
although he is cleared, I am still worried that he might re injury himself and is probably not 100% or someone will do that on purpose... so limited minutes is good for the team and himself.
He had one really rough game. Made it much harder for us to win, and luckily we did. Outside of that game he hasn't been excellent, but he hasn't been bad either. Lebron, Pierce, Wade, Dwight and even Westbrook in his limited action have average more TO/48 then Harden.
sad but true .... . it's very hard to filter any decent discussion on the forums. I like to discuss Lin, but on the objective side, on the positive side. sometimes, the points are repeated over and over again, not much new things. It's like listening to same song the whole day. makes you crazy at the end. I like it on the early seasons, so much fun discussions and joking around on CF. I admit I joined because Lin joined the Rockets . . . it was fun. Coachbadlee, Tinman, Roxxy, etc... it's fun reading threads/discussion. then the advent of a lot of NOV/DEC/2013 which I don't know if they join to bait/troll . . . then it becomes a mess.
Looking at the last game stats...didn't look like the PG did much passing with the number of assist they had.... They also allowed 20pt for RJ....yes they were double teaming...but if it was Lin it would be consider as poor defense... The wining factor to game 5 was all Asik, Harden and Garcia. You better hope these guys played like they did in game 5.
i got warned and a neg repped by Clutch though, hahaha.. i saw a red. I think I was super pissed on a poster and replied something inappropriate. Clutch got me a red mark, i mellowed down since. lol. Gratefully, I still have thread starting priveledges
This! is what I like to see Problem with Lin is, he will convert the punishment into "chickens" - lol. Remember his 1st T and how he reacted to a 2000$ fine? Gosh! Millions on the bank and worried about the missed chickens. I wonder what is the penalty for an elbow to the face? 2 game suspension for 1st time offenders?
That'll be nice if Lin can play a little dirty..ahaha! But i wouldn't consider it defense...it can actually work against him...getting foul call and may get his opponent fired up even more....
