I found it hilarious that the alliance forgot Sherri was still there. Stealth R Us or not, she was still a fan. Should have been an easy vote and they would have still had a 6-3 advantage with the original alliaance entact.
I think Malcom caught them so far off guard, they didn't have time to think straight. But you are right, had they had time to go and talk things out they might have come to that conclusion and it probably would have been the best move for them.
Remember they did plan on splitting the vote just in case there was an idol and either Reynold or Malcom had it, but then Reynold won immunity. Then, they were going to split it between Malcom and Eddie, but then Malcolm found the idol. Their options all just shriveled within a small amount of time. In case anyone wants to see the tribal council again. I think Cochran shipped his pants and Eddie looked like a little kid who found his lost puppy. <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/0sZH6IiTOAw?hl=en_US&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/0sZH6IiTOAw?hl=en_US&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="560" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>
I was wondering why they didn't pick Sherri. But Phillip put himself out there It will be interesting to see if Eric flips
Oh yeah....Sherrii IDIOTS! I actually think malcolm made a mistake by telling everyone he had the other idol before the vote. What was the point of that?
I believe it was to make the alliance face having to figure out which one of their own would have to go. Thereby showing who was on the bottom of the alliance and possibly causing cracks in the alliance.
I'm almost sure he wanted to keep both idols and would have told eddie not to play it and he wouldn't have either. So, he needed to plant the seed before the voting to make it work. Unfortunately, eric brought up that scenario soon after and ruined it. You can see it in his face when Eric says it and then he whispers "bastards" after voting. He knows they can't pull it off anymore, since Phillip told them to vote as planned.
not sure how much they accomplished. attempting to keep one of those would have been a risk worth taking, but it's easy to say from the outside and not in the game putting my life on the line hoping they don't call my bluff. buys them another tribal council of trying to put something together, and buys 2 of them 2 more councils. better than nothing, but saving one would have been a game changer. the 3 of them will be scouring the island looking for the next one i'm sure. cool to see the "giving another the idol" strategy employed this season.
I thought that was fine. If he did that, he could have either a)played both and the same result would've happened or b)save one for him this week and hopefully stay another by playing it next time. However what he should have done is not tell everyone he's voting for Phillip. Let them scramble and destroy each other from within, then try to work his way in. Also leaves the possible of them keeping the idols instead of letting Phillip be a martyr for everyone.
^agreed he should of never announce they were taking out phillip and let them suffer... Erick was the only one that did vote as planned he vote FHILLUP lol I was even thinking like Erick said they might not even use the idols, good thing they did.
I couldnt be happier in the way this worked out. I can only take so much of Phillip before I start throwing things at the tv. I like Malcolm, he seems like a chill dude I could hang with. He is also fairly smart and damn good at challenges. I also echo the desire to keep Brenda and Andrea around as long as their bikinis keep getting smaller. :leer:
I'm not understanding why Malcolm let Andrea's presence become an issue. I would rather find it and be forced to play it. Andrea didn't know where to look for it exactly.
I was wondering the same thing. I guess the only thing she could do was to dig in close proximity and find it, but he certainly wasn't gonna find it by not looking. I hope Cochran wins it all now. Malcolm was the only other player I was rooting for.
A co-worker heard on an interview from Malcolm this morning that he told Reynold the clue to find the immunity idol. I agree that I would have looked for the idol even with Andrea there.
Malcolm was going out one way or another. Same thing as last time, he finds an idol or two, wins a competition or two, and he thinks he has the game won. He wasn't even smart enough to continue to look for the idol when he KNEW he had to have it. He let her punk him. You can't play that timidly, bring on that much attention, and be confident you're not going home at the first possible chance. What a relief this week not listening to Philip. He may have told Reynold, but she's going to be on him, and it, even more than before. If Reynold pulls the same thing and lets her punk him too I will just laugh. I'd like to see that clue again, they didn't show it long.
I think he was at the right spot, but it was buried next to a tree there were a few to check out. I agree with the attention part...he's constantly trying to do things and take control. He just became a big threat. Line up with 2 other guys. Bigger threat. He should have turned on Reynold ASAP and focused the attention on him.
Finally watched the last 2 episodes. The reason he didnt continue to look for the idol and dig was because Andrea was gonna start digging and looking also so there was a big chance that she would of found it or someone else like Cochran so he didnt wanna chance it. Dont matter cause Andrea got fkd and looked like an idiot by not playing the idol, she thought she had the game in her hands lol
If Malcolm really told reynold the idol clue how did he not find it. It seems like it was right there in that area and pretty easy to find Eddie may be the stupidest and most worthless player I have seen. He's a moron and truly sucks at the challenges. Isn't he a firefighter? You'd think he would at least be decent at the challenges
Amazingly, Andrea didn't seem to notice Dawn's reaction when jeff asked for the idol. Good job of making her her feel safe, Dawn. I don't think he's as stupid as he comes off, although he's no genius either. He probably reasoned he could cruise for a while by not appearing to be a threat. I believe he's an EMT.
