Elizabeth Colbert Busch: “When we talk about fiscal spending and we talk about protecting the taxpayers, it doesn’t mean you take that money we saved and leave the country for a personal purpose.”

    BOOM

I think this was a bad move. By all accounts, she's winning this race comfortably with a week to go. There's no reason to say something that will be a big media story. Everyone already knows his history. If this comes across as childish or rude, then it only elicits sympathy. Really, nothing for her to gain in this scenario. If she was behind or in a tight race, different story.

I see your point, but witnessing his sputtering response was priceless.

    "Just answer the question."

I like hammering that home. Pathetic that this guy is even able to run. I can forgive a cheater, but this was so much more than that.

Maybe; Brown didn't seem to suffer when he mocked O. Sanchez about his taxes.

I feel slightly embarrassed that I live in a neighboring state.

Not surprised. Low voter turnout in a heavily conservative southern state usually spells a win for the republican party.

The more I see of your posts of David Burge's tweets the less I think of him. The problem isn't just that Sanford cheated on his wife, it's that he took off while on a salary paid by the taxpayer and left without notifying his own staff where he was going. That's kind of dangerous. Imagine if a President just took off to another country with his mistress without notifying anyone where he was going.

congrats bigtexxx, your type of state and your type of guy.

have you considered moving to South Carolina as Texas is soon to flip blue and won't be as Confederate as SC.
