I know they are NOT Joey Crawford. That means I'm cool with it. How Crawford still has a job in this league and is working the playoffs is beyond me.
Did you struggle to understand how Luca Brasi stayed employed by The Godfather? Just because their business is dirty doesn't mean their employer isn't appreciative. Every cartel needs their hitman.
I recognize two of their names, but beyond that I don't know much. Which is a good thing BTW. I hate it when an NBA ref is so bad that the fans are almost as familiar with him as the players.
One of, if not the best comedy on TV right now, Workaholics. Dude is pretty much the best part of the show.
With Westbrook out, does Stern still want OKC to win? Rockets (and GSW) are cinderella stories. Would he rig the series in our favour as being the first ever team to come back from 0-3 could be ratings gold? As well as creating even greater ratings vs Griz/LAC? Or is he reserving that for the Celtics?
I would think Stern would want OKC to advance since Durant is a bigger star(and therefore ratings draw) than Harden, but the problem is they likely won't beat Memphis in Round 2. Man, what a nightmare for Dave and the NBA as a whole. A Spurs-Grizzlies WCF? As for the Celtics, I'm sure the league would much rather have the Knicks advance.
Im pretty sure that Stern and the NB wanted this series to go the distance (game 6) as it has the most drama and a potential high ratings draw (unlike the Indiana-Atlanta snorefest) conspiracy hat off
