If Gallo played, they would've won.

Curry played injured. David Lee was out completely.

They'll keep it together (as much as they can), they'll win a bunch of games again, and they'll probably lose in the first round again, as they've done the last 9 of 10 years.

When had Gallo ever been fully healthy.

What's ironic is that a team with stars is actually LESS susceptible to the injury bug than one without stars. As long as the stars are healthy, a star-filled roster will win. Everyone else is interchangeable. But a team with 8-9 solid players would have a dent in their talent if any one of those players go down.

Btw, would like to pat myself softly on the back for wishing for the 6th seed even back when we were Denver's b!tch in the regular season.

They just got outplayed. Superstars are useful because when games are close they can close it out.

None of the games on the road for Denver were even close.

    I doubt a superstar would've made a difference.

They need to get rid of Andre Miller. He's the biggest curse ever.

He's no 0 for 9 in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the worst such record in league history.

They need an upgrade at head coach.

I consistently saw a lack of effort from many of the Nuggets players in most of the game. That is George Karl's fault. Ty Lawson is the only player who seemed to regularly give a damn.

    I really don't know.
Ive always thought Karl is a great coach. But maybe its time for him to retire?

The loss of Gallo and injures hurt them I'm sure but...man I don't know what they should do. Maybe look into Al Jefferson? Sign Iggy back on the cheap?

nothing. their team is fine. just need to give the young players some more development and experience and they'll go very far.

I'd resign Andre Iguodala and give the same group at least another run. Faried will improve his game no doubt.

Nuggets are still the 4th youngest team in the NBA, and half of the reason they are fourth is because Andre Miller is like 40. Take him off and they are actually younger than the Rockets.

A team that's basically younger than Houston that won 57 games last year is not "in trouble".

They have alot of assets but perhaps they need to add a solid 3 point shooter?

Both Lawson and Faried came back from injuries so they weren't really 100 % healthy.

But Andre Miller was a contributor and regular part of their rotation so you can't just take him off and expect them to have the same exact number of wins. That's like us taking off Delfino and expecting us to have the same record. I'm also not sure if taking him off the roster drops them to the youngest team in the league..math doesn't seem right on that one.
