Please don't chant "refs you suck" any during the game!! The only fans that do that are fan base's of historically bad teams. Clipper fans do it, GSW fans do it, and OKC fans do it (I know they aren't historically bad, but it's a young fan base. Plus their Okies). Doing that isn't going to help us get any home court calls. It's classless and shows the ignorance level of a fan base. We are better than that, we've won championships, we're used to winning. Be loud, boo fisher, make OKC know you're there. But please don't do this other crap!
I think more importantly get in the game and stay loud such as the fans of the warriors and thunder. This is the playoffs......crowds make a difference.
Are they going to pass out red or white shirts to the game or combo? I prefer red it looks damn intimidating.
Fans can make a difference without being stupid! It doesn't help get calls, in fact it probably hurts! Those other fans are loud, but their stupid. They don't know basketball!

I tend to agree. Refs are human just like everyone else and can get annoyed. No good can come from explicitly telling them that they suck.
I'm not sure that shouting "refs you suck" gets any calls but I have noticed in several playoff games this year that when the refs make a bad call against a team and it comes up on the screen and the fans really scream and shout and let the refs know they made a mistake, the refs tend to give a make up call. The refs review the video of some of the more controversial calls at half-time so to really let the refs know they made a clear mistake in the first half is important. Cheering loudly for the home team is important, because refs are human and emotional beings too. Crowd and pressure on the refs can influence their calls. But no need to be abusive, that doesn't help as it creates resentment against the crowd. Have a fun time at the games. My wife and I are thinking of flying to Houston from Tokyo to catch games 3 & 4 of the finals against Miami if we can get tickets. :grin:
Seriously everybody does it now I heard Bulls saying it not too long ago. If the ref's make a bad call please say "Ref's you suck" it apparently worked since they officiated good during game 5
Only cheer when the refs make a call. Make them feel like the most important part of the game. Full proof strategy.
why Why ruin the fans fun. If they want to say the refs suck they should say it. This is why we have playoffs so the fans can attend and have fun. Trust me I have been to many playoff games and no one will be able to hear what was said. If they did I would have been thrown out as about all the spectators.
If Crowley is slated to ref we are in trouble. It means the fix is in. Doubt it will be in our favor.
I sure hope CRAWFORD isn't apart of the ref crew tomorrow. Game 5 ref crew was actually the best so far.

I actually think that the reason the refs called that offensive foul on Durant in the 4th and then the technical was because the crowd was chanting that they sucked. It was their little revenge. Moral of the story is don't insult the refs themselves, just boo a bad call.
