    why would he bother shooting his assault rifle in the air a couple of times before shooting himself if his goal was to shoot others?

    It's an odd scenario for sure. The AR could have jammed perhaps and his Mk-ultra programming stipulated that he skin his smoke-wagon and waste himself at that point.

    Glad to hear noone except for the shooter was hurt. It initially sounded like the El Al shooting at LAX in 2002.
