I don't think anyone is acting like that. I think the more logical perspective is the fact that people flying out soon have to deal with a much higher security threat and thus leads to longer delays.
Everything should be safe unless some random act of violence happens. You guys flying out, or have family/friends arriving will be plenty fine. This is just some random act of suicide/ attempted suicide by police. Guy had a death wish, and it was or nearly was granted
If you're flying international in June and you see a guy taking like a super long time taking all of his bullet protection off to be scanned, that would be me. Sorry in advance.
according to the chronicle an air marshal (who was almost certainly armed himself) confronted him and that's when the guy shot himself. Likely saved lives having that air marshal there before the shooter could kill others
Yes! I never b**** about airport security or any for that matter. Hate when people complain about how long it takes at airport through checks. You never know
I hope you all have a higher level of sympathy for Royce White after this. Stick to buses, people. Airports are deathtraps.
by the way -- this one really hits close to home for me, as I frequently see planes flying overhead in Houston every single day
I don't know, man.. they took him away in an ambulance, but I bet that ambulance turned right around and dumped him off in the C terminal. Don't fly out of the C terminal!
