WTF? and how the hell does an ar-15 get past security

Wife just flew out of terminal C this AM. I fly out Monday.

 

Pull up to passenger drop off... walk in with AR-15... and pop off two shots in the check-in area. Who said he got past the security check?

 

I don't think he did. It says he fired the shots in the ticketing area, which is typically before you go through security.

 

the ticket counter is the first place you enter when you get into the airport.

so a man armed with an ar-15 and a pistol walked right into an airport and fired away.

I can see where this one is headed

 

I've got several flights later this month.

 

I was just there. Pretty crazy. good thing I live right near the airport before all the traffic got bad.

 

He probably went through the side. I have met several friends arriving in Houston and not once was I searched, looked at, or even seen most of the time, until I got to the baggage area.

I'm sure this is exactly how he got in undetected. Especially at T-B, I can probably go walk in right now and not see one person until i get too baggage area.

 

weird how so many of you are acting like you narrowly escaped death because you or relatives flew or are soon flying on a plane.

 

NRA convention in town?

 

My wife leaves at 630 AM tomm.

 

Everyone who just posted they were flying soon should really just cancel their flights.
