We didn't really need Delfino this game but he's hit some timely shots for us so far in the other games..we also can't have Garcia/Parsons play the entire game or afford one of them getting into foul trouble against Durant Delfino out. I wonder how severe his injury is.

    [UPDATE] 5/3

I think the severity of it is important. I'd like to see him back because he has the ability to put up a game like garcia did tonight.

I hope Delfino is ok. It'll be a major blow to us with Lin already out.

    He's played pretty well recently.

Too soon to know. Seemed genuinely concerned. Left in walking boot. RT @Txwayz: @Jonathan_Feigen What's the status on Delfino?

Well when Clutch finds out I'm sure Feigen will let us know.

He came back though didn't he? I remember seeing him walking back with a security guard behind him.

@surreALEX I wasn't there for the Delfino interview, but Brooks says he'll be just fine for Game 6.

Yeah, I thought he came back.

It's not like he had all the time in the world or anything with the hack-Asik going on....

Wasn't Kobe playing with bone spurs late in the season? Not saying Delfino should be forced out there if he's legitimately hurt, but he could theoretically play with bone spurs, couldn't he?

Sounds good to me. He can help on defense. Hope McHale realizes that.

Morey didn't sound optimistic at all on 790 this morning. I'm not, either. Obviously this injury bothered Carlos in early April, and during Game 2 in OKC, he grimaced and limped a lot. Seemed a bit better in Houston, but if someone stepped on it last night and aggravated it... it's going to be tough. It takes a lot for Delfino not to play.

I actually think it'll be Lin to take Delfino's minutes, not Anderson. Morey sounded pretty optimistic on Lin returning tomorrow, and they said earlier in the week that if Jeremy did return, it'd probably be for limited minutes off the bench. So my guess is you'll see a bench unit of Brooks, Lin and revolving door of Harden/Garcia/Delfino. Maybe even ultra small with Beverley, Brooks and Lin for a minute or two. OKC seems to be going small to match us, so I doubt it will cause too many problems.

Yeah, but he stayed in the game and hit that corner 3 that sealed the win, so he'll probably be ok. At least if Lin can come back in limited minutes, the loss of Delfino doesn't hurt as much.
