It's based on her general popularity with women, her revived moderate/professional image through her time as SoS, and that no one seems to have a huge problem with how she handled the Bill situation. As of a few months ago - right in middle of the Benghazi mess - she was the most popular national political figure in the US:

Who are all these people that are anti-Hillary? What is that based on?

    Can people move on? Yes

Will all people move on? No

Do you think Bill only slept around that one time? Do you think he has ever stopped sleeping around?

How are you pretty sure? Conjecture?

It's not the pressing issue, granted, but those kind of lingering issues do follow people into voting booths. It will be interesting how hard she is pushed in the primaries if she even runs.

I like a lot of politicians when they aren't actually politicking anymore.

She is one of the most known politicians that was polled about and she has made comments about not running for President. If she announces, I would strongly argue that her approval rating goes down.

If she is the best person that Democrats have to run for POTUS then I feel real good about the next election. That is all.

Should be a slam dunk for the Democrats . . . but it won't be
They will figure out a way to f*** it up.

Obama ran a nearly flawless campaign considering all of the baggage he was inheriting with the economy.

I'm actually of the opinion (and I'm biased since I've worked for some of these campaigns) that Democrats are far better at large scale campaigning. It's really been that way since 2006. Outside of a wave election like 2010, the Republicans have been fairly anemic when it comes to competitive elections. And I'm not even referring to policy. I'm only talking about campaigning itself.

If you asked me 10 years ago, I'd say Republicans were by far the better campaigners and had a massive technological advantage. All of that has been flipped. It's Republicans that are pissing away elections they should be winning. Part of that is nominating idiot candidates (Todd Akin, Richard Mourdock, etc..) and part of that is terrible campaigning (Mitt Romney, Denny Rehberg in Montana, Rick Berg in North Dakota, etc..)

    I see. I have a question then...

If she decides to run, who could possibly defeat Hillary in 2016?

If you want to start a thread on that, then I will answer. This is about Democrat candidate. I wanted to know who your best bet was. Seeing most tend to think Hillary made my day.

Me too seeing as she will only have to face Ryan, Paul, or Rubio. Weird that the GOP is pushing Christie away, he would be a strong candidate.

Sure, except that your statement is posed as if her winning is an eventuality.

A better question would be, Who do you think the Republicans will nominate as their candidate for POTUS?
