This. Honestly, Lin plays like he's intimidated which he very well may be. This is his first playoff run, and he did not show up. Of course, Lin was playing against Westbrook, but even against Fisher, he wouldn't freaking attack the basket. He just settled for jumpers....
I've been very impressed with little pocket Rocket Brooks. I'm hoping we'll re-sign him for next season as well. He brings a spark off the bench and plenty of energy. He is not what he used to be, but he is 29 and still has a few good years left in him.
Jeremy in practice 4/30/13.
See this is the problem. I want what is best for the team not what is best for my favorite player. What is wrong with saying I want the guys that actually played well to play going forward?
If you're a true Rockets fan and not an irrational hater, you should not wish for Jeremy to remain injured, because $hit happens and we need healthy bodies.

Too soon to know. If he plays game six, I really hope he is effective. If hate to see him out there sucking it up. Especially with this awesome miss match we have with Beverly and Brooks out there together. Two wins now with brooks and beverley in the playoffs.
He has a $2.5 million team option next year, but we'll see. If he's riding pine as the 3rd PG, there's no point, but if Lin's traded it makes more sense.
The whole Rockets team (except for Beverly) played poorly in game one. Lin played decently in game two until he got injured hustling for a loose ball for the team. No one knows for sure how Lin would have played if he wasn't injured. In any case, Lin is currently very injured, so of course Bev and Brooks are playing better then Lin RIGHT NOW. Lin can't even take off his shirt on his own right now. Thats pretty bad.
lol so people who think Lin is trash are racist? Goodness what have these forums came to with the idiots on here.
Noone's going to touch Jeremy with that "ridiculous" contract. Why go for Jeremy when there are equally serviceable PGs out there you can sign for cheap (Patrick Beverley)
Again your eye test doesn't match the stats. Trash in game 2? 19:38 mins. 3-7 1-3 3pt. 4 rebounds, 3 assist, 2 tos in the first half. Decent #s, not trash. Brooks is playing better? He is shooting 2-6, 0-1, 2-6, 3-7, 4-11 and 1-8 from 3 point land. In 5 games he hasn't scored more points than shots taken. You say Lin's game 2 was trash. Yet Brooks hasn't shot better than him in any of the 5 games, but you say Brooks is playing better. Seriously take your hate glasses off.
He didn't play scared in game 2 when we were only down 2 at the half to a much better OKC team than we're currently facing, he didn't play scared when Harden was out with injuries. He played scared game 1, along with every other player, I'll give you that...
What? That dude mention Lin exist in this team just for selling jersey overseas and he's right and I'm a joke? Lin is helping the team all season long and just because of 1 recent bad game he is back to a scrub? If you read my post, I'm even giving big credits to the other guards, not bashing anyone and you are questioning me of being some kind of Lin only Fan? So anyone who registered earlier is superior and is always right and I joined this year so I'm automatically in LOF club ? Lol, smh
Honestly, Lin's not ready for the playoffs this year, maybe next. I'm not even trying to knock on him because he did play a big part in getting the Rockets to where they are currently. My problem with Lin is in playoffs basketball, having him and Harden on the floor is redundant. They both dominate the ball. Lin has looked intimidated and unwilling to be relentless that has made him successful. He's dribbling too much east and west. With AB and Bev, they have been relentless during the playoffs. Attacking north and south causing havoc with Harden as the facilitator. You add Parsons in the Mix and you have 4 guys attacking north south. If Lin wants to be successful in the playoffs, he needs to be more assertive and play with more fire. Every time he hesitates to drive or shoot, that's another turn over. With Harden, we can't afford anymore freebies if we want to stand a chance against Oklahomo.
