"My CLUTCHFANS are you with me where you at? In the front, in the back killa-bees on attack" <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/-AufiRY78ow" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Clearly this is thinly veiled "Do we really need Lin?" Imo, Lin is the better player, but the worse fit. We need a PG that doesn't cheat on D, meaning going for the steal rather than playing hard man to man D (because Harden already does this) and can knock down 3s. Lin just isn't a good fit next to Harden, but if moving him can bring CP3 and/or Dwight, he will have done a lot for Houston
I could be wrong, but I feel like Beverley often does the thing you mention. Not "cheat" by not playing hard one on one, but I feel like since Beverley is just going all out and constantly going for the steal he often abandons his man or gets burned, and than is forced to foul constantly. And I love this Brooks-Beverley tandem! I love AB, my favorite Rocket right now, and Beverley's heart is awesome! I do kind of feel bad for Lin who is suffering on the bench, I still think he is a good player and he is still our starting PG. I hope he can come back in Game 6, but Brooks is still given his minutes.
Patrick Beverly will straight-up sew your ******* closed, and keep feedin' you, and feedin' you, and feedin' you, and feedin' you...
We signed Jeremy Lin to a ridiculous contract... Then signed Patrick Beverley for chump change and got Aaron Brooks for peanuts LINSANITY
It's more of a "look at how cool I am, I listen to the urban music!" more than a lets bash Lin thread.
said it perfectly, Lin is a good player and i have nothing against him as a basketball player. He just does not fit well with this team, not as well as AB/BEV does. I hope his trade value is good so we can get another star this summer.
I WISH I COULD SLEEP BUT MUST KEEP READING ABOUT THIS WIN!!!!!! I guess we have to enjoy the excitement while we can! Guys like us have waited many a year to feel this kind of excitement.
Brooks is boss. I liked how he took that tear drop at the end of the quarter instead of passing it off to Harden like everyone in the whole world would've predicted. Biggio, Bell, and Bagwell are the killa b's, it's just Brooks and Bev to to me.
