I am not so sure about steals, but blocks and rebounds, yes. Beverly did not reach 2 steals a game when he was in the Euroleague. I look up the stats.
Didn't GS just pretty much put Lin in when the game was over though compared to Bev who actually got meaningful minutes?
10mpg is rotation minutes, and it's spread out in 4 quarters. There's a reason morey first picked up Lin based on his numbers at GS, and reluctant to let him go.
Its not a matter of comfortable or uncomfortable with me, Beverley (granted its a small sample size) can give the Rockets almost the same offensive production while playing way better defense at literally a 10th of the price. At worst we have Lin for 2 more years so I am not really that worried about him but I would seriously consider trading him or at least looking into what I could get for him.
I don't think he needs to, the way this team is structured, they need a point that can get his own shot. Harden and Chandler are usually the creators because they have the ball most of the time.
SF3, you're the one who resorted to personal attacks so you should take your own advice and "grow up". It's not called "stalking" when I was just trying to address your points. If you can't back up your words, then don't say them in the first place. I'm done with you. What's frustrating is that these LOHs types disappeared for a while, especially after Lin did really well in Harden's absence and played really great during April. A lot of basketball writers were praising Lin for being a solid if inconsistent starter. Then one bad playoff game, and all the haters gleefully emerged from their little holes to scream "I told you so!". The sample size hypocrisy gets me too. Lin just put up a solid season, but that counts for nothing when he has one bad game or when Beverley has one good game. That's just bias at its dumbest.
His playoffs have consisted of 1 horrible first game, a solid half of game 2 where is was on pace for 14/8/6/4steals, shooting a decent 50%TS, and team was down by only 2 to a full strength Thunder in their house, and he got injured. What's your deal?
Charles Barkley just said that the ROckets are beter wihtout Lin because the Thunder can't stop Brooks and Beverly.
If the Rockets can get a better PG, always go for it. Otherwise, Lin is good enough for the team. I think Lin needs to take a deep breath and seriously analyze his own game. In the off season, stop travling and doing interviews. He has to feel the chip on his shoulder, spend a lot of time in the gym, he will come back much better next season.
Think about what you just said... Charles Barkley said it. The Chuckster is almost always wrong. What was his assessment of Yao again?
