I thought Lectin is pretty prevalent in nuts, or am I mistaken? Guess what I am asking is are there only specific nuts that are ok in a paleo diet?
^fixed Depends on the type of bean. Also, most beans retain trace amounts of lectin after being prepared (soaked, drained, boiled, drained again, slow-cooked) correctly, which is completely harmless. Almost everything about legumes that Paleolithic people hate on is based on speculation and poorly derived correlation. Don't be knockin' my legumes! lol, to each his own. As long as you care about health, you are always getting better.
dirt has carbs. god created dirt. eat dirt leave god out of your stupidity lol ^^sorry, didn't mean to be harsh, just funny
I'm thinking of creating an all-purpose general health thread. Wanted some opinions before I do. Should it go in the Hangout or the D&D? lol I looked in the thread database and didn't really find anything other than specific diet threads. Why not have a thread where people can compare diets and information?
