Puta Her man it a - I'm glad as the next guy that he hit a few shots tonight and that 29 ft 3 but he's the same CBA player and his flaws are the same ones he's always had.

His flaws are glaring in some aspects but I disagree. I have been seeing glimpses of his former self more and more every game. He needs to shoot more 3s, I don't know why he doesn't. Hopefully he can improve and come up big next game because we will need it. Common denominator last rockets playoff victories? AB played good ;)

Show the man some love. I hope Lin stays out so we can continue with a heavy dose of Beverly with a light mix of Brooks.

Loved his play last night, he really made a difference. His quickness was a huge edge and he's got some playoff experience.

I think we should run the offense through brooks when Harden and Parsons are on the bench. He's actually been the man on offense before unlike the rest of the team. They can all hit shots, contribute, etc but running the show is different. Lin, Parsons, Harden and Brooks are your best bets.

This is nothing new. Just another episode of SamFisher looking like an idiot.

I don't think I understand why Brooks is so divisive. He made some real enemies apparently. One of them seems to be SamFisher.

He's had a real journeyman career in the NBA so far after having some real promising moments with the Rockets. Some of the best of our otherwise crappy decade. I'd like to see him have success. The crowd was really behind him too. Fun to see.

I believe its partly because DaDakota was the biggest over-supporter of Aaron Brooks, why SamFisher is his biggest critic as a foil. Not entirely from Brooks himself. Some of that sentiment still simmering maybe?

Mostly, from when Brooks was visibly upset and pouting with not getting a contract extension from the Rockets following his MIP season, he was made into a "me-first" guy. Probably unfairly, but thats not gonna endear too many people.

But most importantly upstart Kyle Lowry was there as a more than able replacement behind Brooks anyway. And plenty of "In Morey We Trust" backers supporting Morey's decision to not extend Brooks. Who were also polishing off their Morey inspired new-found advanced stats acumen, picking apart Brooks's game. And the stats and armchair experts "convincingly" showed that Lowry was more effective.

And people then griping on Rick ADELMAN too for being too "loyal to a fault" with playing Brooks after his injury. Which was blamed for losing enough games and blowing Rockets chance at playoffs.

(Brooks then traded in a very good deal getting Goran Dragic and 1st round pick. Brooks goes away in China proving that he doesnt even "belong". Repeat story again with Lowry and Dragic.)

But 'memba AB made Lakers an D-Fish his b***h tho, welcome back AB lols

Aaron Brooks is 7/20 with 6 assists, 3 TOs, 1 steal - what a stud.

I guess you take your "victories" where you can find them now Kwame? :)

    Been a real rough year.

I know speed is his biggest weapon, but wouldn't AB want to bulk up just a little? He looks more like 150 lbs.

    I'm 6'1 & 3/4 inch

I would say brooks is probably 5,11 & 2/4 inch.

In the picture I'm leaning a bit in his direction so I'm slouched.

Look I'm glad as the next guy when he hits a 29 foot prayer - I just don't want him out there doing it very much.

Oh and as far as "supporting the team" wasn't there a thread about Aaron Brooks saying to some fan after he was shipped off to Phoenix who mentioned something about HOuston to him with " **** Houston!"

stud! Anyway don't think we'll have to worry about it next year, i don't think the Rockets will be renewing the policy.

Wasn't there some thread on that one brookshairmedia site talking about the resident turd on clutchfans pulling stats out of his ass and having nothing better to do? Its plain as day that he looked uncomfortable and has been playing better every game so naturally the average will be lower. I mean, not really playing at all in the reg. season should give you some time to adjust right? He's probably the best pure shooter so his average will come out.

Really? I couldn't care less if he made 23 3s and we still won. I guess thats the difference between us, I'd rather see the rockets win no matter what than you hoping to see a player not make some shots.

Brooks with the ball at the end of the game on offense may be our best chance to win.
