so according your logic, anyone who supports him couldn't care less about the Rockets' franchise? what impeccable logic you have there.
Lol you're the real troll I WANT the Rockets to win but I'm just being realistic, I just don't want an injured hobbled Lin to play and screw it up. I mean think about it, the Rockets barely won last game and almost blew the lead having shot 82% in the 2nd half at one point. Plus Harden is also injured that's why he's scared to shoot these days. Parsons and Asik are the key players game 5 but McHale can't coach for squat because he doesn't take players accountable. look at how G. Papa and even Eric Spolstra would get into the faces of his all stars, they don't give a F who they're talking to they want team ball and a win. Do you see McHale doing that?? Thats why Lin should stay put, for a starter who gets benched 4th quarter playing well in key games, complete disrespect to a starter. I can't imagine CP3 or WB not playing every game in clutch minutes. linsanity was the definition of teamwork and being ultra clutch and this coach after a whole season still can't realize it.
I just hope that if Lin plays tomorrow and he plays badly, no one will make any more stupid excuses for him, especially the injury. If he decides that he's fit to play, then the better PLAY.
So, I take it you never been to Houston, TX before. Because while there are no doubt racist people within the city itself, you are out of your mind to think that they account for any type of majority. There are a bunch of reasons "fans" of the team seem to hate Lin, I personally believe on this board the main reason is because 'Clutchfans LOVES the backup PG', Lin is just the latest to have fans on this board fall in love with his backup and curse him because they think they are being smart and might be seeing the rise of a great player. Happened with Alston and Brooks, Brooks and Lowry, Lowry and Dragic, didn't happen with Lin and Douglas (at first) but there is a pattern here.
I would rep this if I could. Keyboard warriors going past simple criticism to pure, unwarranted hate. I wonder what half these losers are like in real life. Lin is definitely not above criticism, but the hate is really a joke to read. If he's not 100 percent, I do agree he shouldn't try to play, but the coaching staff and Lin will know better then some douche bag on clutchfans just hating on him.
JLin need to lead by example. You play no matter what. You go down swinging! If he's not performing Mchale can always bench him. As a team player he need to suit up!!
As a team player the only thing he needs to do is what is best for the team. If he's not going to be able to help out there he shouldn't push it.
No he doesn't. He already tried to play through the injury and obviously that hindered him. Lin is a team guy (probably his best attribute)
PG contribution was amazing last game....lets not change anything atm. He's too injured and we would really like to win.
That's what he did in game 3, and he hurt more than help (not the reason we lost though). And why risk a more serious injury when he's not ready? Last thing I want is for him to get more injured and spend the whole summer rehabbing again when he should be practicing his jumpers until his arms fall off.
@HoustonRockets 37s RT @JasonCFriedman: Jeremy Lin (chest contusion) did not take part in today's shootaround. Remains game-time decision.
the amount of hate for their own players on this board is amazing. yao was hated because he was yao. lin is hated because he is lin.
Probably better if he doesn't play if he's not healthy. Win or lose everyone's fixation on here will be his performance.
