[Yahoo!] Patrick Beverley didn't want to hurt Russell Westbrook, but not apologizing for play

    That was definitely a dirty play, with intent to injure. Notice beverley lunges AFTER the whistle is blown, and HEAD FIRST.

    I've always thought westbrook was an embarrassment not only to the thunder, but to the game of the basketball; but beverley simply wanted to ram him. That's not a basketball play--that's a dirty, cheap play.

    They knocked knees. It could of easily been beverley who had the torn meniscus. That's almost akin to a footballer player trying to injure another's head with his own.

    Beverley rammed Westbrook. He put his head down and went FULL BORE AFTER the whistle blew. It was a dirty play. Period.

    The death threats were completely insane but if you choose to propel yourself at full speed into an opposing player after the pay is whistled over, you deserve to be called out as a punk.
