I concur with most of your posts and couldn't have stated my thoughts on tiki-taka, Barca, etc any better, but regarding Bayern, I'd listen to the fellow that has watched/watches every single Bayern match in person or on tv (for decades now I'm sure). Some battles one has to know who he/she is dealing with and when they have more knowledge on a topic or sub topic. ATW is Mr. Bayern. Let's leave it at that(except if you've watched more Bayern this season than he has). Anyway on to the return matches! Can Barca or Real come back? Hopefully not! (But it'll be entertaining if they give good perfomances in the return matches but fail to advance)
Anderson, there's no fluidity in any of your statements. You're talking out of your ass. I'm not one for definitions, but tikitaka is not just about posession and high pressing. It's a form of triangular keep away - which like you said involves a lot of passes for the sake of passing, then attempting to breakthrough after lulling the opponent to sleep. Obviously, Barca have the technical skill to do it. That's not how Bayern play.
So what are your guesses for the two semi-finals? I'm attending both. Hopefully no crazy idiot blows anything up.
I picked Real to win it all. 3 or 4 goals is not impossible for them. I think that if they're up 2-0 at half they have as good a chance to advance as any. That away goal is still a factor.
3 goals in the 2nd half?? They need score them fast, this Dortmund team is not just going to roll over and then add the time factor and Real is going to start playing tense and sloppy. Hell they're playing like that now.
Would be interesting to see if tomorrow's match plays out the same as today's. I can see Barca not scoring until the 2nd half or late in the match.
Yawls ready to watch Barca get embarrassed? Man we should have a CF chat thing for big soccer matches.
We shouldn't do that and play to our strenghts, we roll over every team this season when sticking to our game plan. Positive we can win in Camp Nou.
Our defense is a mess, no Puyol, Alba, Mascherano, Abidal, Busquets so it is very likely that Bayern will score. The possibilities of advance are slim to none but in this game alone Barca will NOT
get embarrassed. All I ask for is for our team to leave everything they have left on the field, anything and everything else is icing on the cake.
