    The game he cost us by keeping Lin benched during the entire overtime will forever stain my opinion of Sampson. There was simply no excuse for that.

    So I hope he gets the Bobcats job. See ya.

    Not sure if he'd accept a coaching offer from the Bobcats, but he most certainly would be missed.

    Rockets defensive game-plans have been very solid all year.

    Also, if Sampson were to leave, what are the odds Nick Nurse gets promoted? You'd have to think he's somebody the Rockets at least would consider, though they might look for somebody with more of a (proven) defensive background.

    should be a rule to not allow interviews during the season/playoffs. sort of a distraction

    Huge hole to fill if they lose him. Very good defensive strategy coach even though this team rarely plays in the half court on defense. You'd have to be happy for him though if he got the gig, and it would be interesting to see if he could shift the tide over there in Charlotte.

    I would expect Nick Nurse to get the call up in his place if he does get a gig.

    take sampson, leave finch. imo, finch is the offensive architect and is what set us apart this year.
