I was going to say this as well. I had originally thought 10% after last night's game, but...

Say we think HOU has a 30% chance to win game 5, at OKC. Maybe a 40% for game 6 in Houston. Again, 30% for game 7 in OKC. The math works out to 3.6%. Not great...

According to my calculations the Rockets have a 30% chance of winning the series.

My opinion of the Rockets chances for each game as of 4/30/2013:

    Game 5: 25%
    Game 6: 50%
    Game 7: 15%

Go Rockets. I'd kill to see Carlos Delfino blow the kiss of death right at Derek Fisher in Game 7.

They won't win the series, but there's a real chance we could take the Thunder to 6 games. It will be difficult to do in their house, would have been much easier if we had won game 3, but it's still possible.

We won't take two games in OKC though which is what would be necessary to win the series.

Bad calculation bro. If those are your game percentages its .25*.5*.15.....a lot less than 30 percent

Win or lose, I'll be happy as long as the Rockets show some heart. Better yet, show some D again like they did the last game!

My half-optimistic/half-realistic prediction: 4 - 3 in favor of OKC.

No team in the history of NBA able to come back by from a 3-1. Not to mention that McHale is unable to win close game.

Which is it.... Do we have a chance to win, or will we win? Thread Subject to Poll Question misdirection.

We definitely have a chance, but it is not likely to happen.

Having said that, I think that we have them concerned with two close losses and a win, in both arenas. We know we can play better than we have.... and I don't think KD can (not to mention the likes of Fisher) by much.

Win or lose, one game at a time. I think we will take this one by 10+ (yeah, I said that about yesterday's game, but we SHOULD have). Then we see what happens and how they react. As Chandler said, the pressure is on them, and our guys could flourish in that. I wish they'd have taken one in OKC before, but better late than never.

It's 100% one team will win.

    If you take okc %.

    .75*.5*.85, that is only 32%.

    32+2 != 100.

IF they can win game 5, the series will go 7 games. Then I think OKC closes it out at home.

i realize i forgot to multiply the percentages of each game and this is correct. Still feels weird to say the Thunder only have a 32% chance of winning the series, but compare that to the Rockets 1.875% chance its pretty damn good. Thats why my future kids will be asking my wife for math advice. If they want to know anything sports, music, or computer related they can talk to me.

So... you are saying that there is a 66% that someone else will win the series?

My bad, I forgot to add in the rest of the series played. OKC has 98+% of winning,
