    I've fallen trap to the age old problem of getting connected to our role players. I love how these guys play and the confidence they bring is contagious.

    Garcia has a 6 mil contract so he's gone unless he restructures somehow? Doubtful

    What about Delfino. I'm sure there are other players out there exactly like him, but this guy has given it his all for is this year, including willing guarding MUCH bigger competition. I know he loves playing here. The way he plays really won't get affected too much with age. when we finally have a contender, I want him as our shooter off the bench

    What are the chances both/either are here when we turn the corner into a contender?? (i understand this is an ironic question because to get that player to take the next step, these guys contracts have to be taken off the books)

    The Rockets are going all in for Dwight Howard. And to get the cap room needed for that, Garcia for sure, and likely Delfino too will not have their team options picked up. The tough part is, the Rockets will have to make that decision before July 1st before they have any concrete knowledge on DH's plans. Morey will take the gamble.

    That said, they could always resign for a different contract after getting DH. ;)

    Yeah Garcia is set to make $6 million dollars next year. You could sign a better player with that money

    We can decline the team option and hope to sign Garcia for cheaper. He's been unreal in the playoffs, would love to have him back.

    Delfino will be back because 3 mil is cheap. Garcia will not unless he wants the vet min to stay. Morey can pull these caliber guys out of his ass.

    It'd be a shame to lose Garcia, I really like him. You can tell he's a good guy to the core and his veteran leadership is valuable.

    After this playoff series, other teams will offer Garcia good money unfortunately

    I was confused about signing Delfino in the offseason, but he has turned into
    one of my favorite players to watch on the Rockets.

    Keep the man with the dragon tattoo.

    Gone and Gone

    Garcia = 6.4 mil
    Delphino = 3 mil

    together they will create 9.4 mil in cap room.

    I think that Dilf stays. I'd love to have Garcia back, but not at 6 mil

    Both of them will leave if HOU offer a max. contract to another star.

    Dmo, Bev, Tj will take their job.

    I appreciate what they have done, but I would go that route too.
    We need all the cap room, that we can get.

    It depends on what we plan to do next season. If we go after a big name they're gone. If we wait it out until 2014 they'll stay.

    It's hard to root for a team if you don't like the players.
    The only one I wouldn't mind giving the boot is Royce White!!
    Sadly, of the three he might be the only one staying....:mad:
