I wasn't talking about rip thrus, it was the standing miles off the ball looking for a charge.

It reached epic proportions in the '10 finals with him standing under Garnett looking for a charge almost every time down the court.

I don't think that was a flop. Looks like he was frustrated with himself for not making the shot and just fell to the ground out of disbelief/disappointment.

I'm not so sure -- some people on the board genuinely seem to believe it was a flop.

All teams have players that flop, but OKC must lead the league in flops. And the bad thing is that when the officials fall for those ridiculous flops it just encourages more flopping. How in the world can Fisher not get fined for those flops in last nights game?

Harden gets HACKED dude! He actually should be going to the line more, or getting more fouls called, but sometimes they go uncalled and a turnover happens.

That's glorious. I think my second favourite NBA gif of all time, after the Bosh flop. The artistry of the synchronization really makes it.

Fisher should be fined a whole game check far the way he flops.

they definitely flopped/sold the play, but their feet were set and were outside the circle. it's a good call i think.

They really need to be consistent between a charge and a block, if they weren't set, the ref is probably going to wave that off as not enough contact because Asik shows no real inclination of the contact mattering.

Well there is no way Asik hit both in the center of their body. Therefore one of those players (or maybe both) is guilty of a blocking foul. In that situation the ref should have made no call.

someone here on the boards should definitely come up with the Rockets version of this gem:

Yes but Asik did not hit them. He stopped right where they stood.

But the fact that they both fell tells you that Asik close to exactly between both of them. It's a blocking foul if it's not a head on collision. You see this a lot with good ball handlers who side step.
