As others have mentioned, he's been average over 5 turnovers a game and under 40% from the field in the last month. He's also had some horrible 4th quarters that have stagnated the offense, and of course has provided an inconsistent defensive effort (but that's nothing new). Harden has not even played at an all-star level in the last month, let alone superstar level.
"The foul trouble kind of set me back," he said. "Coming in trying to make big shots, I was cold." coming from our "best" player.....
"I did have a double-double," he deadpanned, referring to his points and turnovers. love your sense of humor james.. but we all know you better get your act together next game or it's gonna be ugly. And your great reg season performance will turn out a bit of a fluke.
Mchale needs to sit him down and teach him team ball. His iso plays are really killing us; it demoralizes our other players and it is very predictable with our opponents. If he keeps up with this, he will be a cancer to this team.
Finally folks in Clutchfans realized that Harden iso dislike is not about hating Harden. I love Harden mon , but he is no HAN SOLO.
I don't. I think Harden is light years ahead of Franchise. I think he's a superstar player playing at a horrible level right now because his HEART is conflicted. He honestly wishes he didn't have to play against his old team. He wants them to win the championship if/when they face up against Miami. And now with his own personal goals for achievement, there is a conflict. The net result is awful play, and the coaching staff should have the foresight to get the ball out of his hands in clutch situations.
He has dead legs, but these iso harden jack ups in the last 2 minutes need to stop. I saw McHale telling him to drive the ball after during some timeout or game interruption and Harden had some excuse, I couldn't get the jist of it. But McHale did emphasize why didn't you just go right and drive in.
It really seemed like Harden was trying everything for us to lose that game. I also think he gave game 3 to the thunder in the end.
Sure, there were some flops, but Harden doesn't even play any ******* defense I don't know how he picks up the other fouls.
Please please don't call him a superstar. Offensive players aren't enough to be superstars. He doesn't play defense at all and has been making horrible decision making in the most important stage, the playoffs. He has a long long way to go. Superstars play defense and make their team better!
