    There is no metric available that would justify such a trade. None. The entire premise is so ridiculous that it is unworthy of a response except to say this:

    The ONLY justification for trading a player of Harden's caliber would be if you thought the last 10 games - where fatigue is no doubt playing a role - are a better indication of his talent then the previous 2+ seasons of progression. And if that is your justification then I suggest you start watching another sport and leave the basketball to the grownups. :p

    I'm surprised no one has called OP out on Patterson's salary. One of the main reasons Morey traded him was because he didn't want to pay him. He's up for an extension/restricted free agency. Him being a "steal" for 3 mil is about to go out the window.

    Seriously though, why do so many of the new posters here suck so much?

    I thought I have seen some pretty terrible threads around here recently but WOW! This one absolutely takes the cake and surprisingly its not about Lin...Im not sure whether I should impressed at that fact or just completely down on the fact the imbicels, like the OP, keep creating absolutely albatrosses of threads like these.

    Imagine a guy avering 16 points and 10 rebounds that can only get better? Well how about you imagine a guy that is averaging 26 points 4.9 rebounds and 5.8 assists and will only get better?

    Also I hope you realize PPat will get a big raise and I wouldnt be surprised if cousins got the max too. How about you just go away

    I'll take Cousins+Tyreke plus their first round pick this year. Harden's been banged up, and I'm slightly worried about his long term health since he'll have max money for next 5 years.

    Cousins is talented no doubt but how many times has he been suspended?
