Schaub had more completions in 1 quarter than tebow all last year.

I am 51% sure that Tebow is better than one of our PS QBs, especially the one that is going to play TE.

I'm sure he would be better than our 3rd stringers, but how did the Tebow circus fair in New York? He's not worth the drama he brings to a team.

I think Tebow would be a great replacement--for James Casey.

Not as a QB, in my opinion.

Good backup option. I would love to have him behind injury prone Schaub. QB controversy would be a distraction though.

If there is one thing we have learned about the Texans it is that they want to maintain an 'all business' atmosphere. They turned down Hard Knocks and they don't draft character risks. You can be sure they will avoid the media circus surrounding Tebow for the upside of having another mediocre back up quarterback. They didn't even draft one in the 6th round.

Even if tebow held a clipboard the entire season, he would still bring intangibles- setting an example for the guys when it comes to work ethic, how to practice, possibly mentoring schaub on how to become a stronger religious leader, if that's something he's even interested in.

I guess I don't get the hate. Scott van pelt actually had the audacity to compare his weekend golf game to tebow's success as a quarterback- "Yeah you might think I'm pretty good if you watch me for a couple of holes... stick around." I assume he has won collegiate golf tournaments & went pro at his sport too?

    okayyyyyy.

Guess I'll bite. What does making Schaub a stronger religious leader have to do with football? Is Tim Tebow the only player in the league with a strong work ethic? What about Matt Schaub tells you he doesn't have one? The fact that he went into a slump at the end of the season is not proof of anything having to do with his work ethic or religious views.

No one hates Tebow. What they hate is the fact that a guy that couldn't hit the ocean from the beach and throws the ball not much unlike the gif above gets so much damn attention. The Jets thought so much of him last year that they decided to start Greg McElroy over him when Sanchez was struggling. No one cares that he's got strong religious views. But they do care when he's speaking at churches that have a sketchy track record when it comes to intolerance and bigotry.

It's a simple fact. Tim Tebow is a horrible quarterback that should either change positions or go to the CFL. I do not want him on the Texans as a qb...not because of who he is...because he is a f***ing horrible quarterback.
