They'll need to stay hot from 3, hope that the Thunder doesn't adjust, and get Harden to play efficiently and smartly.

It's a single elimination game at a time.

4 major sports teams have come back down 3-0

Maple Leafs, Islanders, Flyers, Red Sox

I hope the Rockets are the 5th.

This series could easily be 3-1 in favor of the Rockets. The refs have not been our friends for the most part. I honestly think that without Westbrook, the Rockets are the better team.

If Harden can get back his mojo, this series can continue on for another home game at least.

Thunder will adjust and we will lose the series. The Thunder just have to win 1/3 games.

Your thread title and poll question are not the same. Do they have a shot? Sure. Will they? Probably not. I sure hope they do though.

I think if this was a best of 9 series we could win, I actually believe we are better in the long run.

However we have no room for error now so it will be incredibly hard but I really believe they can do it!

I do think someone is bound to come back from 3-0 eventually. But I can't call myself a knowledgable basketball fan while predicting that the rockets will come back.

    So no.

While it is far-fetched, if Harden shows up for game 5 we could be headed back to Houston. Harden is reminding me of Artest's Lakers series. Just awful. Anderson deserves his minutes if this continues.

Think in terms like this: to win the series, the Thunder has to play a great game once of three chances; to do the same, we had to do it three consecutive times.

Odds are not in our favor.

Harden has enough talent to at least make this 7 game series (although if Westbrook were still around, this is a sweep).

It seems like the Thunder are missing half their team, that's how much impact Westbrook has. I would be surprised if Brewer doesn't get some time over Liggins, at the least he provides above average defens and veteran knowledge.

Is Harden going to use his array of skills and become our Lebron, or try to be an Alpha dog, and become a very poor man's Kobe.

It really is all on Harden. He has to play like the top 10 player he has been for the regular season. If not then no, they do not have a shot.

The fact that they have hung in there though and nearly won 2 other games this series with Harden having two mediocre games and then having a terrible game tonight means IMO that if he were to come out play like we know he's capable of playing then I think we'd have a good shot at making history.

I like to think of it this way. How often do u see a sweep? Every year, multiple times? Who usually gets swept? The worse team, every time? At this point, I think the Rox r a better team, so, I believe it can happen. There is a first time for everything, all records fall. That being said, the Thunder should and will win it.

As long as you're not eliminated, you always have a chance.

Well technically yes. Until the Thunder win that 4th game, the Rockets have a shot at winning the series.

Now will they pull off the greatest comeback and upset in NBA history? No. I don't see this series going past Wednesday. The Rockets got lucky tonight(although in fairness they also got unlucky on Saturday). That's not likely to happen again in OKC.

That being said, it's not out of the question for the Rockets to make this interesting. If they did win Game 5 which is certainly possible(especially if James Harden actually shows up), it's not hard to see them coming back home and winning Game 6. Then honestly it's a tossup in Game 7.

But my prediction stands. They'll lose Game 5 in OKC.

I'd say we have about a 5% chance of winning the series.

The odds are stacked against us. But the odds aren't zero, there is a chance no matter how miniscule, that's why they play the games, and that's why we continue to watch. If all of us knew that OKC would win the series in Game 5, would we even watch?
