No, he did not do that. He is trying to regain his shooting touch. On defense,he isn't putting in an effort. He has to learn how to be a winner.
Ok so let's review, an 82 game season where he was hit with injuries but still came back when he could, even playing injured at times wasn't enough. Toughing it out through a gut wrenching series against a much superior OKC team even though he is visibly injured isn't enough. What is effort to you then? I'd really like to know. He isn't Tmac'in out there, he got to the line tonight and while it wasn't his best game, we won. OKC has Durant and Westbrook, the Heat have the Superfriends, heck, even the Lakers had 2 aging superstars playing at a time even through the varied injuries. We have Harden and a set of role players. Give the guy some freaking credit.
I'm not seeing an obvious injury, maybe obvious fatigue but that's no excuse for a lack of effort. I only hope that it's an injury because that's something that will fix itself with time. However I think we need to face the fact that this is not new. Harden was hit with the same criticism in OKC after choking in the playoffs last year. That's why people questioned him before the trade. He doesn't step up when you need him most, he shrinks back. Again he has the talent to be great, it's just not clear that he really wants to. He has a competitiveness problem, and that's not going to fix itself.
Please just stop posting. Harden has been plagued with injuries. It's well documented that he's had ankle injuries, last game he needed help back to the bench after a drive to the basket. He was grimacing in pain because of what looked to be a hamstring injury. You have no idea what you are talking about. Harden was a 6th man for OKC. It wasn't his job to carry that team over the Heat then. Also, as it's been stated before the guy is 23. Even LeBron had growing pains. Just stop posting.
Aw, that's cute. Harden injured his hamstring? Amazing, I must have missed the thread. Oh wait, you're full of ****. He choked. Same problem. Fool me once... Comparing Harden to Lebron in any shape or form after tonight? Go home, you're drunk.
Look at my rep level, look at your rep level. Then go back and watch Games 2 and 3. Then go back and actually watch the season the guy has been having, no I mean actually watch. Then, actually use that thing you call a head. Maybe then you might actually be able to construct a decent argument and maybe then you might actually know what you're talking about. Until then, you're a waste of time.
We were 1 easy Ibaka tip in from going into OT and I don't think we would've came out of it with a win the way Harden was playing. I am really conflicted. You know Harden is probably the best player but he hasn't been showing up recently. The series should've been tied 2-2 right now..... I can give a pass this year I suppose.
I thought he was trying to throw it there at the end. Even T-Mac tried some drives to the rim on his game ending iso plays. Hell Franchise tried harder to make something happen than that. Harden ate clock for three possessions then launched shots that weren't even close to going in.
The scary thing is that I think Stevie Franchise actually had a higher basketball I.Q. than Harden does.
