Is the Minnesota job taken? Maybe he wants to be close to his family.

Yep. Don't see Morey firing him. He'll say we exceeded expectations blah blah blah, but if we get swept it's a disappointing season for me. We have enough talent to win one game in the playoffs. I'm also still pissed we're the 8 seed. We had a big collapse to end the year.

The play calling at the end of this game is sickening

Well, you've got to decide whether to run ISO from the top of the key or the arc...

That was way too disturbing. We could have daily lost that. I highly doubt mchale wanted that but if he doesn't have the balls to tell harden to stop he needs to be fired

Serious question here. Can someone please tell me why Daryl Morey hired Kevin Mchale? A guy who never had coaching experience before was hired over other guys who were better than him. Forget about us making the playoffs. We made the playoffs because of Harden, with out him we would of been a 30 game winning team. I really don't like what Mchale had been doing out there. Too Many ISO Harden, too many threes and bad play calling. I'm surprised we won Game 4. I'v been so frustrated on this series I hate losing in first round. We need a real coach who can actually make plays and coach these guys well. Mchale is average and been doing a decent job on developing the players but he sucks at play calling. Fire him or fire Morey.

I'm still MAD right now even though we won. McHale is a disgrace for allowing Harden to almost end our season tonight. Both were complete jokes tonight.

I agree he should be fired but you are an idiot to think we would be able to get out of the first round against the #1 seed.

man ive been sticking by my "everybody gets a pass" stance, but wow, what can you say after another late game meltdown? we got a win, so it wasnt a disaster, but i think morey et al will be watching him a little closer from her eon out

you keep harden on the bench and we win this one going away...but its pretty obvious that mchale has gone all-in on harden, and that move may cause him trouble down the line

    McHale's Postgame:
    http://www.nba.com/rockets/video/channels/playoffs/2013/04/30/0041200144-hou-mchale-postgame.nba

transcription of that part, as close as I could get it to actual pauses and stuff
We said we wanted to attack the paint. We set up a play where thought we had a, um, tried to set up an overload situation where we could drive quick and then, you know, kick out, uh, but…

you know we didn’t we ha— the jumpshots at the end, um, they’re all or nothing shots, you know, we gotta—we gotta get that thing in the paint, and so, um, I thought that…

for the most part, you know, Chandler did a good job of that, you know, turning the corner, got in there, he had, he lead us with 8 assists, and twenty seven points. He had a hell of a game. But we’re going to need this kind of effort up in Oklahoma it’s uh…

it’s really important for us to go up there and feel what it’s like to meet a team that wants to close you out and on the road and it was really important for us to win this game tonight.
He really paused a lot and struggled to find words when talking about the jumpshots; imho that’s usually when a person’s really guarded about their words and I personally think he was trying not to slam Harden for the isos.

    Additionally from NVP from dreamshake:
I distinctly remember one play we had Delfino cutting back to the left corner and Partick Beverley was calling for the ball hard, and Harden mostly just ignored him and took a 3 off the dribble
