Chief's Cajun shack on southmore in the third ward. It's not even a competition tbh. I have never seen a burger that big.
Cajun, that just reminded me of the preformed, preseasoned prime burgers at HEB which are pretty good- they have a cajun recipe. Just overpriced, & have to cook them yourself of course. They have some house baked yellow buns there that I always pick up when i splurge on those. Either those or sweet hawaiian buns.
Naa man, I was just trying to be funny, and failing. I actually do like Fuddrucker's but haven't been there in several years. Their jalapeno cheese sauce was the bomb though. Depending on what part of town you're in though, you really should try some of the suggestions in this thread. Hope your mom gets to feeling better
Had stomps again Saturday, girl I'm talking to had never been there. And while the burger was awesome, damn the service was terrible. Ill take the red headed tatted bartender at tookies any day after that haha.
Had stomps for the first time last week. Good place, service is a little spotty. As far as chains go, also had a smashburger for the first time. Damn tasty.
I dig it. Good Steak and Shakes have always been in my top 3, but the one in Katy is awful. These are very similar burgers, so I was very happy. Guess, what, another freaking Subway in the shopping center though. Woo. Hoo.
Why?? Those things are so easy to franchise. I hate it. Small business loses out. Had Steak n Shake in St. Louis. Good. Also ate here. http://baileysrange.com/ 10 different types of Root Beer http://baileysrange.com/menus/Range-Drinks.pdf So much win!
This place is legit...I had Sparkles yesterday and it was good too, huge burger...Tookies is my favorite so far...
As ridiculous as the name is, the Burger Palace near the Galleria has had the best I've tried thus far. I think it's the akaushi beef (America's kobe beef attempt). I've heard the Burger Guys (Bellaire-ish) uses it too, but I haven't been there. Other places like Hubcap Grill, while nice, thick, and juicy, can only go so far with their kind of beef. A next level burger requires next level beef quality. I've taken 6 people to Burger Palace and everyone said it was the best burger they've had in Houston. Both Burger Guys and Burger Palace are perfectly affordable (a few bucks more than most other places). One place I found shockingly bad was Bernie's Burger Bus. My wife, my co-worker, and I all were very disappointed in it after hearing everyone's rave reviews. Again, it's not akaushi beef, but even among angus/chuck burgers, it was sub-par IMO. I feel I should re-iterate: beef quality is important. Look for places using akaushi beef if you truly want the best burger. I believe all the people recommending other burgers simply haven't had a burger with higher quality beef.
U guys are lucky in indy we don't hav places like this just plain fastfood I would lov 2 try in and out
