Can we please win a *****'n game and not have any stupid turnovers in the final two minutes. Go Rockets!!!!!!!! One game at a time. Extend the series STERN since you lost MONEY by the heat and spurs sweeping the series.

The only to prevent ourselves from going choke mode in a close game, is to not make it a close game, in other words a blow out.

Houston by 10+ pts or we lose.

Sit Lin and only put him in if Bev is in foul trouble and AB is not effective.

I'm having trouble getting excited for this game for the first time all season.

Feels like a preseason nba game. I had to bet on it just to make sure I watch.

Don't want to derail the game thread so I'll just say one thing:
Guys, don't believe everything you read in the paper. Just because a news story says a city is "the best place to retire" or "has the greatest opportunity for new graduates" doesn't mean that it is actually true. They are just making claims to sell the news; they'll change their tune in a bit when they want to sensationalize something else.

I get it that Houston has a lot of different ethnic groups represented, and I'll even concede it has more ethnic groups then any other city. But according to the 2010 census the city is 51% white and 24% African American . That leaves 25% of other ethnic diversity.

SF, on the other hand, is 48% white, 6% African American. It has 46% other ethnic diversity - nearly half the people are neither white nor black.

I respect the civic pride. But if you come out to visit SF sometime you'll realize that Houston is not nearly as diverse ethnically.

I know I'll get some flames from the proud local folk, which I completely respect. I stick up for my town too. So have it, and I'll let the topic drop and we can get back to talking about the Rox upcoming win tonight. :)

Again the question was do you know anything about Houston? (besides what you are reading on the internet?) I'm not going to comment on your city, although I've been to Fremont, never been to SF but I make it a point not to badmouth a city if I never stepped foot there.

I didn't realize how diverse you were was dependent upon how much of your population was not white or black.

Also African Americans and Whites make up 75% of Houston, whilst Whites and Asians make up 79% of San Francisco. So because San Francisco has more Asians than Houston it's more diverse? I'd actually say going by percentages Houston is easily more diverse.
