Almost every Christian I know... I guess Chris Broussard is without sin, sense sinning makes you not a Christian.
I find that odd especially since chicago is a bastion of liberalism. In new york its a lovefest, maybe collins being an ex net helps.
LOL I'm praying for Mark and his family too. After last night's epic destruction of everyone's eardrums during his wife's rendition of the national anthem, prayers are needed.
I did, & like I also said, Ignorance is ignorance. Since I'm not going to waste my time teaching you the entire history of discrimination my point remains the same. That is, that the ignorance that led people the fight against civil right for black Americans in the 1950's is the same ignorance that exists today, when people vehemently stand opposed to gay rights. & before you bring up the bible, you should remember that people have been using that to limit other groups rights since the day it was written. Including 1950's America when white people used it to justify their belief of segregation.
Multiple Sources spoke on Jason Collins? He must have had " insider info" on the bible. **** Multiple Sources, and **** Mark. Jason Collison, please proceed to suck as much penis as you wish. Thug Life!
Im pretty sure they used to (scarlet letter) but the sex revolution kind of changed peoples attitudes about that.
...why is it so many people use the word "admit" when announcing someone is gay?...doesn't that imply guilt of some sort?..
exactly the opposite King used the Bible to shame the country into reversing segregation (as Wilberforce used biblical arguments to end slavery in Britain)
While both are ignorance I wouldn't call them the same kind of ignorance. Hating blacks and minorities wasn't really based on the bible but instead on superiority. The same religious people that are against gay marriage would come out just as strongly if the US tried to legalize prostitution. The gay movement better compares to the women's suffrage movement than the civil rights movement.
That is the beauty of the bible, it can be read in a multitude of ways. Do you think that all those southern pastors were preaching the same thing that MLK was?
Do not confuse voting democrat as a bastion of liberalism. Chicago is the most segregated city in the USA, has a history of serious racial issues and has corruption to it's core..... the city has major issues.
