Once they've introduced Norman's blackouts, his attack on his half brother, and his visions the episode took a much stronger turn. The wife and I are kind of enjoying it.
I didnt get to watch last night. Thank you Comcast for on Demand. I will be watching tonight for sure. Cant get over how hot Norma is
Wow...**** got real last night. Pretty funny now after last week's episode... Spoiler I have no idea whether or not Norman's experiences are real or schizo scenarios. I incorrectly guessed that his entire conversation with Dylan was something he was making up in his head...boy was I wrong...and Normal dropped the hammer on the hottie. Pretty funny that I thought Dylan was a complete d-bag from the beginning...but now, to me, he's the most likable (and trustable) character on the show. This show is now infinitely better than the first few episodes. Starting to take some seriously dark turns...my only complaint would be the end-of-show trailer for the next week's episode...it shows too much. Needs to leave more up to your imagination.
Last night's episode really started the forward momentum, I'm more and more impressed with this show as it goes along.
Yea last night's episode was great. I didnt want it to end. Im glad Norman got down with the girl that has been flirting with him all along. I was afraid she was just using him
Finally got around to watching Monday's episode... wow...seems as though the suspense and insanity is starting to build on each episode now. Very gripping and intense. I can't believe that the Spoiler girl that Norman saw in the cop's house was real. I thought for sure that he was imagining her there. And I usually never get completely sucked into a show and more specifically believe in any character wholeheartedly...they are actors after all...but Spoiler when Norman told Emma he was sleeping with the hot chick, I felt really bad for her. On one hand, I'm somewhat pissed he told her...he should've kept quiet and hooked it up with both of them...on the other hand, Norman seems to have so much more in common (social awkwardness, etc...) with Emma than with Bradley. And now I'm really intrigued with how Norma and Zack are going to handle Spoiler having serious beans they could spill on each other. Plus the Spoiler gunshot to the neck to Dylan's coworker was completed unexpected. Good gawd...is that how everyday life in small-town Oregon goes?
Man I missed it Monday and I just got uVerse, which hasnt added that episode to on demand. Cant wait any longer! boomboom, it is hard not to click your spoilers
There were just tons of great sequences in the episode last night, like you said it seems like they are really ratcheting as the episodes go on. That last spoiler, the wife and I were like WTF!
It took a while to get used to this whole modern-day setting, but I'm realizing Psycho is just a story that everyone knows to use as a baseline to create a whole new story. I guess I've just been looking for every storyline in the show to be related to why Norman turned out the way he did, but now I realize I shouldn't watch it that way.
So, I'm watching this, and I keep seeing Dillon and wondering, "Why does this guy seem so familiar? Is it from another movie? It has to be from another movie. Then it hit me!! Spoiler Dillon Chandler Spoiler Hmm.
I think it works on that level as well but it's not the shows primary driving force. Last night really took the show to another level. I've been really impressed with it as the season goes along.
Finally got around to watching last night...boy, things sure did get pretty ****ed up in the second half. I thought Norma was going to snap when Spoiler Emma hugged her...and then I was equally shocked when Norma actually hugged her back. And holy ****...the Spoiler gunshot to the eye...wow! I cannot believe that they are killing that character off. He sorta fit a dynamic of cop protector with a massively screwed up bad side. As for next week... Spoiler I can see Norma turning on Zack and blaming everything on him. I'll be pretty pissed if that happens...Zack still seems like the only trustworthy character on the show (besides Norman's girlfriends). And geesh...some of the camera angles of Norma make her seem beyond hot...while other shots make her seem beyond insane. She was a great actress to play that role. This show keeps getting better and better and is really starting to deliver some serious entertainment.
After Monday's episode I have this feeling that Bradley is already dead and Norman killed her. He just doesn't recall doing it. It fits into the Psycho story perfectly when you think about it.
Hmmmmm...interesting concept...but at the rate things are going, Norman and Norma will be the only two main characters left at the end of this season (if the deaths of main characters continue to mount). Was quite a bit shocked that Spoiler Norman killed his dad...and now, thanks to Dylan, thinks his mom killed his dad. Of course, Norma might have explained that story to Dylan to help justify why she over-mothers Norman. She might've actually killed him. And...from Wikipedia
I'll be too busy with the Rockets to watch this tonight. It's definitely on my must-watch list for tomorrow.
